List of MIchael Fischbein's Reviews
I was fortunate to have this world class surgeon operate on me on March 8, 2021. Another physician remarked that I had arguably one of the most complicated surgeries you could have. It involved cardiac and pulmonary bypass and repair of an aortic abdominal aneurysm. Dr. Fischbein is kind, patient and incredibly humble. He was on his feet for 10 1/2 hours and had his nurse manager give periodic updates to my son. I could not have had better care.

Dr. Fischbein and staff are top notch in their expertise of quality care, knowledge, and mannerisms. Dr. Fischbein, his staff, and the staff at Stanford Hospital we dealt with before during and after my husbands surgery several years ago was a five star experience. He and his staff always made us feel confident with our concerns. They were very compassionate. We really Thank everyone involved throughout the entire process.
I received the most comprehensive, compassionate care in my first appointment than I have ever experienced. From scheduling to every aspect of information sharing to the face to face, human to human communication, made me feel safe, cared for and optimistic! I have absolute confidence in Dr. Fishbein. Thank you!
Doctor Fischbein is amazing! He has a god given talent, best doctor our family has met, he performed heart surgery on my mom.We are very thankful to him.
I was diagnosed w/ Loeys-Dietz syndrome in March, a few years back after an aortic root aneurysm was discovered. After consulting w/ Dr. Fischbein, I was confident that he was the go-to guy to do the Tirone-David 5 valve sparing, aortic root replacement procedure. Had surgery in July of that year. So glad I did. Dr. Fischbein was patient, attentive, and professional with me. Six months later, I was able to be back skiing at high altitude. I'm so grateful to the Lord for Dr. Fischbein and his team.
Best Doctor! Him and his staff. Thank you so much for taking care of my mom with her heart surgery ... I recommend him 100% very friendly explains everything how it is and clearly.
One year ago I put my faith in God and he gave me Dr. Fischbein. I was blessed to have him and his staff work on my medical issues. In the days before surgery he conferred with me and my wife and made us feel assured that things were going to be fine. He and the health care staff at Stanford Health Care are excellent. Today I feel fantastic and many more days of living the life. Thank you for caring.
Dr. Fischbein (and team) handled my aortic dissection in 2016. I slept through the whole thing (ha!) but my wife who is a RN filled me in on how great they were and the constant communication they kept up with her and my family. It was touch and go for a long while but I'm happy to say all went well and my recovery/follow-up visits have been great. I feel I was blessed that Dr. Fischbein did my surgery and my wife agrees. Thank you Doctor Fischbein!
On July 27 2117 I went into the operating room 7:30 am in the morning and came out of the operating room at 9:30 pm at night. Dr Fischbein replaced my Aortic heart valve, the aortic root, and did a double bypass of 100 and 95 percent blockages. Now after 5 months from the surgery I am realizing what my wife went through during the 14 hours I was in surgery. Dr Fischbein took care of me, the staff took care of my wife expertly. Serious operation I said? He said "like 3 serious operations!!"

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
