List of Y Joseph Woo's Reviews
Dr. Woo performed my triple bypass surgery at Stanford Hospital - his personality is exactly what you'd expect from a surgeon. His staff are very friendly, very knowledgable and accommodating whereas he is extremely knowledgeable but lacking in friendliness. This did not bother me because I knew he was there to perform the surgery and his Staff would be taking care of my recovery. I am now over 6 months post op and feel like I have my life back. I can run and exercise again, and no longer have any issues with my breathing. My only negative comment would be how long it took to get me released from the hospital even though I was already walking and cleared by most of the staff - this is not against Dr. Woo but rather the hospital administration that struggled to get me cleared more quickly to return to my home. Finally, Dr. Woo did an excellent job closing my incision and there is hardly any scaring.

⭐️ if that… I do believe this individual was staying at the most luxurious resort in the western United States, and this Hass to be him. I delivered him one item and they were out of whatever else he ordered. He tipped me one dollar to drive 50 minutes there and back. Not sure if this is the right person but how many other heart and lung surgeons are out there who stay at elite Resorts? why did you feel like dropping my tip down from 7 to 1 dollar I am poor I am renting my car and I’m doing whatever I can on the weekends to make things happen and ends meet. If this was you shame on you, you deserve to be in a low class, bracket an attitude like that I drove up and down a mountain to bring you one nasal spray. when you’re that rich it’s not even worth the karma and when something bad happens to you I want you to remember me and you know what happened God let that bad thing happen to you are you just mad over politics or watt? why did I deserve that? I know where you’re staying I know how much it cost to stay there. I know how much money you probably make as a lung surgeon. can you please explain to me why that happened?
He took wonderful care of my husband. Doctor is extremely knowledgeable, competent, confident. Wouldn't want another cardiac surgeon than Dr. Woo.
Disrespects nurses that are responsible for keeping his patients alive.
My father died under his care. The whole situation was a nightmare…the worst experience of our life. Never even had the decency to call us back after his death.
Excellent surgeon. I was up and about from my 3x CABG in just a couple of months. Thank you Dr. Woo
My husbands experience with Dr. Woo was great. He replaced his mitral valve due to a bacterial infection. His staff has been wonderful since the surgery.
Thank you for saving my aunt’s life!! We are so grateful.
Thank you so much for saving my life. You, and your staff are truly amazing.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
