Dr. Patel made negative comment about reimbursement then performed a post-op procedure resulting in hypotension and left patient in room without assuring continued monitoring by staff while still hypotensive. Attitude was very unprofessional and inappropriate as she started the interaction by expressing discontent with the Emory ENT physician reimbursement system to patient and family. All future post-operative follow up was done with nurse practitioner to avoid any further interactions with Dr. Patel.

very well qualified with impressive academic achievements. and she happens to be my good friend's daughter! seems to be a thoroughly dedicated doctor extremely focused on her profession.

Dr. Patel is a leader in the field. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, highly skilled and a world class educator in the field of skull base surgery.

Dr. Patel could not tell me what was causing the nose congestion that I was having in some specific. I have had two sinus surgeries and according to her, I was not a sinus patient. She made me go for a CT Scan even when it was not needed. Her knowledge seem to be completely theoretical. She could not even readily tell me the next steps - later she followed up referring me to another doctor. Sorry, could not find anything less than a 'Single Star'

I was referred to Dr. Patel and went to my appointment. The front counter medical staff were very helpful and I was in the medical room within 15 minutes. Professor, Dr. Patel, an expert in Rhinology, was thorough with her exam and was reassuring and encouraging concerning my health issue; hypertrophied turbinates and maxillary sinus cyst(s) which have substantially inhibited my nasal air flow. The surgery coordinator contacted me within 48 hours. Everyone was help and informative.

Dr. Patel removed a cancerous large tumor behind my right eye 4/2015. Her expertise removed it using an endoscopic procedure through the nasal cavity rather than a radical removal of face and penetration through the jaw. Her compassion and her encouragement through my head cancer is unsurpassed by any medical Dr. at Emory hospital in Atlanta. I finished my treatment with Proton Therapy at UF Proton Therapy Inst. in Jacksonville which saved my eyesight. I'll never forget her dedication.

Dr. Patel is so knowledgeable and is an excellent surgeon -- couldn't have asked for better results! I had forgotten what life was like before my constant sinusitis -- it's amazing!

She`s a great doctor she fixed me after multiple others could not. Has wonderful bedside manner and is very thoughtful and reactive to patient needs. I would definitely recommend her.

Completely incompetent. Refered to her for chronic sinusitis. She charged $1,100 to improperly collect a specimen for culture and submitted wrong sample for testing (crust not swab of tissue). When culture results came back she insisted that I stay on a completely ineffective, potentially dangerous antibiotic, and insisted on surgery despite no CT scan abnormality. Found a competent ENT who couldnt comprehend what she was doing. Discussed a rational, non-surgical treatment plan with my infectious disease MD. Fired Zara and had great luck managing this medically.
