Anna Ivester's Online Review Report Card

This doctor has helped me in more ways than I think she is expected to. When coming to her with an issue, she truly seems to care about my well being and long term health. She focuses on both mental and physical and doesn't seem quick to throw medication at you hoping to just mask symptoms. She always seems to want to find the root of the problem and if possible, fix that first. Additionally, shes provided me with understanding of whatever diagnoses or medication that she has given me. I came to her with a great deal of issues and she has always taken the time to listen and talk with me while providing thorough evaluations, treatment and education. She even has me try to teach back some of her education to ensure understanding. Despite what others say, she has been my doctor for almost 5 years and have literally made my plan adjustments based on whether or not she could stay my primary.

My appointment was scheduled (last month, mind you!) for 11:15. After checking in and paying my copay, I noticed the board stating Ivester was 30 minutes behind. I inquired, and was finally told that the wait will actually be 45 minutes. The current time is 12:28. I don't think any physician would wait this long for a patient. This isn't my first bad experience with this office.Updated 9/30/20:I didnt even remember writing this review, but I do recall the frustrations with this office. I want to update that Dr. Iverster is absolutely wonderful. She is my primary care physician still, even though I moved 45 minutes away. I plan to keep her, she's worth dealing with Sutter.

She is racist and demeaning. Never have I experienced such a thing with a Doctor.

I find Dr. Ivester very pleasant, attentive, and willing to listen and answer all questions without seeming in a hurry.

Unprofessional, biased and rude. First appointment and grilled my 15 year old to the point of her crying. If you have a problem with a plant based diet then please talk to the parent, not ask the child questions like, "How many amino acids are you getting?" Seriously?! I would say most adults don't know what amino acids they are getting daily. If Dr. Ivester would have taken the time to get to know us and ask me as the parent I would have been able to inform her as to why we are plant based and to the fact that we have met multiple times with a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s Degree in Public Health who has guided our family to ensure we are eating plenty of protein, vitamins, minerals, carbs and fats. Extremely disappointing service!!

I have given this doctor the benefit of doubt for far too long. She does not take her time. She is quick to blame everything on season allergies. She prescribed a medication for me that was supposedly a preventative migraine pill but after finally seeing a neuro was told that was not true. My migraines are finally managed after one month with the neurologist. She does not respond to emails. She has thrown non sense out such as when asking for assistance with fatigue and body temperature she suggested I gain weight. I am not underweight. Too many bad experiences to list I have since moved to a new primary care and very satisfied. Sutter is a good facility but this doctor should be disciplined or closely watched. Just because she went through her schooling, she she not automatic be given authority to be responsible for others health.

I have been under the care of Dr.Ivestor for multiple years, she is honest, listens and allows me to fully participate in all my care and needs, referrals are done fast which has resulted in medical issues being resolved and/or diagnosed quickly, Dr. Ivestor truly cares about me as a patient, and human being. I will be with her until I die. I fully trust her with my healthcare and needs.

My all time favorite doctor. She takes her time with you, listens well, and is overall amazing! She is very knowledgeable and kind. I am very happy to have her as my new primary doctor.

Dr Ivester has been my primary care physician for 3 years now. She is always considerate, listens and explains things to me in a way that I can understand fully. I would recommend her to anyone
