I seen Dr. Iyengar about a mobility issue I had with my right elbow. We went over the imaging and we discussed multiple ways to treat the problem. The information he provided made me feel confident in making a decision. I would recommend Dr. Iyengar to anyone with elbow or shoulder issues.

My wife was referred to Alpine Orthopaedic for extreme chronic shoulder pain in both shoulders that was getting worse. At Alpine, Dr. Iyengar reviewed the imaging and found significant deterioration in her shoulder joints. He performed surgery replacing the existing joints with metal ones, reversing the ball and socket to provide better stability. It's been a year now and the pain is gone and the joints function well. We couldn't be happier. Working with Dr Iyengar has been a pleasure. His bedside manner is very good, and he has been precise in detailing what the issues were and what he was doing. I highly recommend Dr. Iyengar.

Dr. Iyengar is an amazing surgeon. He has preformed surgery on me twice for both of my shoulders. He is very through, and he explains everything that he plans on doing while in surgery. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Iyengar to my friends or anyone else.

I had a reverse shoulder replacement. Dr. Iyengar explained the procedure and gave me printed instructions on how to get ready for the surgery. Everything went as planned. He sent me home with post op info. I never had much pain and now my shoulder works perfectly. He is a very kind and caring doctor.

I was impressed with all my visits being on time which is very unusual these days The office was very neat and clean and the staff very nice and professional Dr.Iyengar is a very nice and reassuring doctor with excellent skill after the surgery i saw my X-ray and it is amazing how perfectly the implant fit with the same margin on each side of the bone. He also seem to be up on the latest technique also using GPS so the placement is perfect. At Alpine I would have Doctor Lyengar do my surgery again my results were at about 95% what I had before the surgery after 4 months.

21 years ago I had shoulder surgery by a world class Surgeon who was used by the 49ers football team. That Doctor has long retired. Recently when I needed a shoulder replacement, I looked for another World Class Surgeon. I found that in Dr. Iyengar. Extremely Capable, Professional, Confident, Personable, Kind and uses cutting edge technology. Truly an Amazing Surgeon and Person.

My experience was nothing but positive. From pre-op to post op Dr. Iyengar was top notch. He explained everything from start to finish.

I had a reverse shoulder replacement performed by Dr. Iyengar on 12/21/21. This was part of my process to receive a kidney transplant. Step 1 was lose weight. I went from 380 to 210 in 2 years. Losing weight also was required for the shoulder replacement. Step 2, shoulder replacement. I am now 6 months out and have about 75% use of my left arm. I had almost no use prior and was in constant pain. No more pain and almost normal use. Step 3 was gall bladder removal. Did that 3 weeks ago. Last step is loose skin removal then new kidney here I come. My goal is to have a new kidney by the end of the year. This process would not be possible without the expertise of Dr. Iyengar, but there are many skilled surgeons out there. What sets Dr. Iyengar apart is that he explains things in easy to understand terms and truly cares, his every action and word shows that. Thank you Dr. Iyengar for helping me down me path to getting my life back.

Dr. Iyengar replaced my shoulder in January. He is an excellent doctor, and my shoulder is doing so well. I was, of course, apprehensive because I have heard shoulder replacements are the most painful of all joint replacements. I have had a knee replacement and hip replacements so I knew what they were like. But Dr Iyengar explained what to expect on a Reverse Shoulder Replacement, and I have found my shoulder recovery has gone very well. I would highly recommend Dr. Iyengar to anyone facing shoulder replacement.
