Dr. Herbold treated two of my children about 20 years ago and I felt he was doing a satisfactory job, although he had simple tasks such as administering cortisone. I was recently referred to Dr. Herbold by my primary care physician for a slight growth on my backside that did not respond well to the topical creams my doctor had prescribed. After waiting a long time for him in the exam room; this after they asked me earlier if I could come to my appointment earlier than the scheduled time for Herbold's convenience, which I did. Not a real big deal. I'm used to waiting for a doctor/doctors because their office staff over-booked. After Herbold came into the room he was accompanied by a young lady, probably in her late teens, early 20s. He did not introduce her, but asked me to pull my pants down. I asked him, who she was. I don't remember his answer, but she was not a doctor or nurse. He used a special light to illuminate the growth on my butt, and asked her to look at it. I'm an elderly man and don't really care that much who looks at my butt. The fact that he failed to introduce her and just assumed she could watch my private parts is galling? He is very unprofessional. Maybe, like too many doctors, he thinks he is God! I won't be returning to him.

Arrived early. Forgotten in the lobby. When I asked if Dr. Herbolt was running behind, the staff replied your next. In the room the doctor listen to my concern of sun damage. Instead of offering a skin peel, the sun spot was frozen. Now besides this procedure didn't remove the brown mark, now I have a black nose. He did this, then before I left he recommended and further freezing to be done in the months of Oct - March. No dermatologist ever says this. Then why did he do the procedure in May. I feel this was a bad decision and I have a heavy heart that I made a big mistake seeing this doctor. I will be going to another dermatologist and hopefully I won't need serious repair. It's scary. Hope I don't end up with a scar.

Dr herbold is amazing. I'm a mom. I've seen him for myself and my children. He is so knowledgeable and assesses the problem quickly and prescribes the best treatment possible. I'm so glad his new office with GSD accepts our insurance.

Dr Herbold and his staff are extremely helpful and they'll do their best to help meet your needs. I'm really grateful to be one of his patients.

Very competent & great communication I was not excited about going to the Dermatologist but had to since I hadn’t been checked out before the Pandemic! But I was immediately put at ease by Dr Herbold & his staff! They all listened to me & answered all my questions. Very comfortable.

Did not diagnose a serious skin condition discovered a few months late by another dermatologist. Billed me for unsuccessful treatment that should have been covered by my insurance, then refused to reconsider his decision.

Billed be for treatment that didn't work. I have excellent insurance, and yet Doctor Herbold chose a treatment not covered under my plan and billed me! Still have the issue he was supposed to treat.

I went to Dr. Hart for many years. When he retired, his office sent me to Dr. Herbold. I really like his office staff and I like him. He is friendly, efficient, helpful and reasonable. He doesn't waste time. I am a nurse and I won't see anyone that I wouldn't recommend.
