I've been going to Dr. Birlew's office for nine months, but yesterday was the final straw! I went there DURING business hours to find them closed...AGAIN! A staff member came outside to inform me that Dr. Birlew had been working very hard over the past three days and that he was tired and decided to close early! I asked if I could at least get a refill for my pain medication and she said no.Part of the reason I was going there was to find out why I STILL hadn't been referred to the neurologist and why I'm still getting messages from Humana Pharmacy saying their requests for a refill for me have continued to go unanswered. These things are all beyond ridiculous and I don't think anyone should be subjected to this. Wait times are four or more hours to see the doctor for ten minutes! And no matter how understanding I've tried to be, there haven't been any improvements since I started going here back in January. The easiest fix would seem to be hiring more doctors, but I guess there's a reason for that. I'm thoroughly disappointed with the service at Dr. Birlew's office and the hassle that ensues. Going to another urgent care takes care of my immediate problem, but when it comes to getting refills or tests, I'm always referred back to Dr. Birlew since he's my primary doctor...or at least he was.

The wait times are ridiculous! Usual wait times are four or more hours to see the doctor for ten minutes. They seem to close at will despite the office hour postings. And it's difficult to get things tended to like referrals, refills, etc. I would NOT recommend this doctor's office.

Dr. Birlew explains things to you in a way that you can understand. The wait time might be a bit much, but he’s a good doc and worth it

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Birlew’s since the early 90’s. He’s fantastic even after his back injury he still practices and treats patients. The wait can be long though so be ready.

Horrible long wait, i went there via worker's comp due to work related injury. Waited from 11am till 5pm just to receive lab order slip to go to quest.

Yes, the wait is long, but I never regret it when I walk out of there feeling taken care of. Always been treated with compassion and professionalism by the staff. Dr. Birlew is one of a kind !

Dr birlew is the best he's awesome if you're looking for a good honest doctor that listens and cares he's the one unfortunately I wish there was more doctors like him every time I would go to my family doctor they never knew what was wrong or they said there was nothing wrong with me and I go to Dr birlew right away he finds out what's wrong with me I trust him with my kids the only problem is that he does not accept medical the best #1 yes it's a long wait to see him but it's worth the wait🤪😁
