List of St. Joseph's Medical Center's Reviews
Everyone that worked with me was great.
Some of the ER staff needs to learn how to work with elderly patients. The elderly need a little extra help like helping them out of the bed or chair to the bathroom. Making sure they are strong enough to open the doors , making sure they are not cold. Also, you should allow 1 person , family or friend to sit with the elderly in the ER. Your policy of having NO ONE waiting with the patients is horrible.I've been in the ER 3 times in the last month. The 4th time , I had to go to a different hospital to get the help that was needed.I could go on however, I'll leave it at that!!
At St. Joseph's I have always received good care. However we are in a pandemic and there are people everywhere in the ER, someone should be walking around cleaning chairs and stations where we are continously touching areas. There should be a better system to control the waiting area. I can't in unable to walk and my companion could not stay with me but I needed to go to the restroom and couldn't because no one was there to help me. I realize we are trying to keep people safe and reserve space but those that can't walk on their own need assistance.
Professional service
They told me what they were going to do and I told them what they were going to do.They dispise the homeless there and rightfully so.But Joe the security guard was my guardian angel that night and into the morning.I was stranger in a dangerous town with a few medical problems. He let me keep my word and didn't make a peep and made sure that I was transported to the shelter that I needed to go to.Honest and fair and he didn't have to earn my respect for he already had it.I would be a very proud parent if he were my son
I was a patient today at St. Joe's for the first time. I have generally avoided this hospital for myself for many years, since my grandpa died there. Today it was unavoidable. I want to thank and recognize Felizia in the laboratory, Mai Jer, as well for being so understanding and careful and skilled at my blood draw. I'm always a tough stick and they listened to me and my experience and were able to get it in 1 stick! Dawna, Melissa, Melanie, Karry, in radiology are a dream! Kind, professional, thorough, and took the time to not only show personal interest but did their best to ease my nerves and make sure my procedure and labs were just as they needed to be. That department has a FANTASTIC STAFF! Thank you as well Dr. Ali for your calm demeanor and answering my questions. Stephanie and Amber the two very important techs, you didn't judge my nerves and did your best to keep me calm and to make sure I didn't give in to nerves.
So disturbing that family is told to stand outside when my husband is in ER from an ambulance. I wonder why mental health in stressful situations is disregarded. COVID should be an excuse to shut out families. Especially with a valid vaccination card and PPE.
St Joseph is the best hospital ever.
If it you're asking about the x-ray I had this.place is the absolute best. I had no wait time and they helped me fill out my paper work. I want to go there for all my radiology work. 👍
Waited over 5 hours for them to tell me nothing was wrong. I never got to talk to a doctor or hear my final results. Must have not been that serious if you can have me just sitting and waiting in a hallway for over 5 hours!! I literally had work the next day so I had to leave. Arrived around 7:30om- 1:00am.. still they said my lab results would be available for me to see after and that’s but that wasn’t true. I went to my primary doctor and none of my results were uploaded for them to finally be read to me. St. Joseph dropped the ball for me and my care. I wouldn’t recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
