List of Sudha Chinta's Reviews
If there the possibility of neg stars l would use it. I am reviewing this endodontist who travels to other dental offices to do work. Lacking profesdional demeanor, no empathy for her patients, started the root canal procedure then left the room without notice with me in head down position, rubbet dam attached and stiff block in my mouth, had to ask for help to remove block and sit up. Assistant said she was working on someone else and she didnt knowwhen she would be back. Sat drooling and swallowing saliva for 20 minutes and then asked again...she said could be another 30 min. Or more I asked to remove dam and left office and asked for my $$ back. The most unpleasant experience l have ever had at a dentists office and l have been to several.
Yes they accept DeltaCare USA but beware. New patient bill will be $155. They add charges for office visit for observation, oral/facial images in a billing code that is not covered, although all x-rays are covered in other codes, and $84 for fluoride and unspecified preventative services.
I wanted to relay my experience with this dentist. We booked a very competitive price for a cleaning. The cleaning was performed reasonably and Dr Sudha's staff was always courteous and helpful.Problem was with Dr Sudha's recommendations. She proposed dental work to five teeth totaling over $2,400. We were suspicious as the patient has not had these kinds of issues in the past. We booked another dentist (long experience, very highly rated) and just asked for an examination with x-rays. The second dentist was quite certain none of the work was required (or advisable). For that reason, I believe it is possible the low introductory price for a cleaning is simply a means to convince patients to undertake dental work they do not need. I realize different dentists draw the line differently on when to fill a tooth. However, I would not trust this dentist to undertake costly work without a second opinion.
2 years of my life lost due to this sadistic unethical quack. $4000 for a $1500 procedure also. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST.
I filed a complaint with the California Dental Board in January 2016 because of how much pain and financial suffering I endured from this horribly wicked Sudah Chinta. So wicked in fact, Chinta countered my review with outrageous lies that she posted on her business Yelp page which I copied and pasted here."Comment from Sudha C. of Danville Endodontics Business Owner 6/6/2016 I am sorry to see this comment but will not give this person any thought after seeing what he is doing and what he had done with me and my office staff. He not only threatened my staff when she was all alone in the office by yelling and screaming and intimidating everyone but now is slandering me because he can. I feel badly that people can go to this extent."There is no end to this woman's deceitful ways. Now fast forward 2 1/2 years to May 2018. Just received the results of the DBC's investigation. The best the investigator could come up with was "simple negligence" supposedly due to the lack of similar complaints. No wonder there are limited similar complaints. The average complaintant would not be inclined to drive their complaint for 2 1/2 years like I did.During this lengthy process I beseeched every CDB person I came in contact with, in both written and verbal communication, to review Cinta's personal Yelp page, even providing clickable links to it. Apparently to no avail which I don't understand. There is a distinct theme of fraud and deceit running through all the one star reviews. I find it interesting that the couple of five star reviews posted seem to be written in a way that only counters the complaints documented in the one star reviews.Anyway, if all the one star reviewers and all others that have suffered at the hands of this person had filed complaints with the CDB we could have her put out of business. But, as they say, that is wishful thinking.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOK. PLEASE SEE THE YELP REVIEWS UNDER DR. SUDAH CHINTA RATHER THAN DANVILLE ENDODONTICS BEFORE MAKING AN APPOINTMENT.Dr. Sudha S. Chinta is very unprofessional and not trustworthy. Her staff works on commission and they stole almost $3,500 from me. I originally went there with a groupon for a simple cleaning and I was conned into paying for 3 root canals which I did not need. They didn't even do the root canals correctly, which was confirmed from another dentist I went to at a later time. During the procedure I was left unattended more then 3 time so that Dr. Sudha S. Chinta can attend another patient, all this was happening during my root canal procedure and while I had a some kind of tool inside my mouth to keep it stay open. Dr. Sudha S. Chinta was more interested in what I did for living then what was going on with my teeth. I kept drooling on myself and there was no one to help me, I couldn't even holler to call for help. From her front desk staff and everyone there does not care about your needs except your money. I was charged a consolidation fee of $250 and I found out about the fee at the end when it was time to pay. When I complaint about why I was not told about the $250 ahead of time, they promised to refund me the $250 but that never happened. Please choose to go at another dentist, you can even check her reviews on google and find out that I am not the only one who feels this way. I am looking to get a full refund and I am seeking legal help and I will not let her get away with this. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY.
Bad, bad, and more bad regarding my experience with Dr. Chinta. Read her reviews on Yelp!
BEWARE BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY FROM HER PRACTICE !!! I went to this Dentist about four years ago for one root canal with my insurance. She said I needed three root canals, and she wanted to do all three at one time. At the time while still laying down in her chair she told me my insurance didn't cover her fee, and that I would have to paid out of pocket. I had two root canals done at a cost of $1,500 each. I called my insurance company the next day, and I was told that the company had a negotiated cost with her for far less, and that I should have only have had to paid the co- payment. She also sent me to another Dentist that works for her (I found out later) to complete the work, and I had to pay another $285 per root canal. I have had many problems through the years with the two root canals she did, and I have not had any problems with the one she didn't do. I have had two other Dentists tell me that I don't need a root canal on the other tooth that she said needed one. I don't know if I needed two root canals done the first time but I do know you can not trust this Dentist. Also, I have had a lot of problems with the work she did do, and if I could give her a O rating I would, and I don't believe these five stars reviews because many other patients (friends and their friends) have had the same experiences with her when it comes down to money. Also, I have been told by other Dentists to stay away from her office.
On July 18, 2017, I originally saw Dr. Sudha for a concern i had on tooth #9, it felt "loose" and there was some sensitivity. After x-rays and consultation with my general dentist, Dr. Sudha advised that it was tooth #8 that was the cause of my pain and performed a routine root canal that same afternoon on tooth #8. Post surgery, Juve, her assistant, instructed me to take IBU for 48 hrs but because my tooth felt fine, i stopped after only 24 hours. On Thursday the 20th, i began to recognize a sensitivity i attributed to post-surgery recovery and called their office. Juve, again advised me to take IBU for the next 72 hours and this time i did, religiously. I tend to be a wait-and-see kind of patient and I was willing to try 3 more days of IBU with the hopes it might solve this latest post-surgery discomfort, while keeping in mind that maybe, just maybe this is not a simple problem a root canal can solve.Yesterday, August 1st, I called Dr. Sudha's office and requested a follow-up appt., as my #8 tooth continues to be a problem and is still bothering me. I was able to see Dr. Sudha the same day and we talked about my discomfort. While the doctor and i have differing ideas on what's going on, i'm treated with respect and feel listened to. I realize Dr. Sudha's the professional here and am relying, yes trusting her expertise going forward. She gave me a prescription for Penicillin with the anticipated result of clearing up any post-surgery infection that may still be present and causing my discomfort. Again, i am willing to wait-and-see, hoping this is the solution.I've had previous root canals with Dr. Sudha and have no reason to doubt her scruples or professional ethics. In my opinion, she's a professional, capable and considerate endodontist. From the onset of this latest experience, Dr. Sudha's advised me of possible complications as these are very old (30 year +) dental procedures we are currently dealing with. I'm yelping my experience with the sole purpose of sharing a truthful, honest dental situation with no agenda. This is not meant to be a recommendation. This is an ongoing procedure which may or may not be resolved with the current method of treatment, penicillin. The crucial issues for me, are about ethical and moral treatment and i completely trust Dr. Sudha and her staff to take care of my teeth and do everything in their power to maintain their longevity and well-being for the foreseeable future.
I originally called Dr Sharma in Livermore, a general dentistry dentist in 2012 because I wanted to change from my dentist in Pleasant Hill that I liked and have gone to for about 15 years Dr. Wolter and Associates (Dr Wolter & Tiziana Procopio are fabulous!) to a dentist in town since I have lived in Livermore for 12 years and am tired of dentist appointments becoming an all day affair because I had to drive so far. Anyway, long story short, she cannot see without her special magnifying glasses and she sees far more than what is there. I went in for a partially missing filling and she ended up cracking my tooth. She put a crown on and I had pain. She tried another one and I still had pain, so she said that meant I needed a root canal and crown and she referred me to an endodontist Dr. Sudha Chinta to do that work. She also said I had several other cracked teeth and I will need to have those capped in the future (I went back to my original dentist later and she said there was nothing wrong with those teeth!!). Dr. Chinta was horrible...and not honest. Her office staff had me sign a form up front stating I was aware that files can break off in teeth while root canals are being conducted. I did not think much about this as I had previously had a root canal with my old dentist without incident. However, after much pain after the root canal and before the permanent crown was put on, she insisted the pain would subside and she set the permanent crown. I still had severe pain, so she redid the root canal drilling through my permanent crown. While she was doing that, she took a series of X-Rays at which point I noticed that a file had been broken off in my tooth extending down out of the root and almost touching the nerve. This had been there since the first root canal she did, but she neglected to tell me that. No wonder I had pain. The file was jabbing the nerve every time I chewed on something, I found out that Dr. Sharma was aware of this when I first was complaining post root canal, but she did not tell me about either! The endodontist told me all she could do to relieve the pain at that point was pull the tooth...oh, and she would not charge me for that! Are you kidding me? After the thousands of dollars I already paid to her??? She caused me more pain than I originally had and was not honest about her error that had caused my pain!!!After having two root canals, I went to another endodontist for a second opinion (more money spent) and he said that he felt she should give me some of my money back as well as pull the tooth for free if she was not going to go through the gums to remove the file.I decided I did not want that dishonest person touching me again, so I had another dentist remove the tooth. I have never had any other teeth pulled except for my wisdom teeth.I will never go back to Dr. Sharma or her partner in crime endodontist Dr. Sudha Chinta. They are not good and not honest. They kept me in pain for over a year and they both caused me more pain than I originally came to them with! And, they ended up costing me a tooth and a lot of money since they had exhausted my dental insurance!I have since returned to my Pleasant Hill dentist office of Dr. Wolters & Associates and enjoy seeing Dr. Procopio there a couple times of year. She is very personable and worth the drive to me! Oh, and I have not had any issues with the root canal Dr. Wolter did for me years ago! If you want good dentists, dial WEFLOSS and you will Dr Wolter & Associates' office.
