Karen Chambre's Online Review Report Card

This review is long over due. I had my first therapy session with Karen Chambre about 10 years ago, and since then, I haven't looked for any other therapist. In the beginning, I saw her a couple of months here, a couple of months there, but for the last 3 years, I have been seeing her weekly, every Tuesday evening. What set Karen apart of the rest for me is her ability to connect and dig deep and not stay on the surface. Prior to seeing Karen, I was seeing another therapist. The other therapist was great in many ways, but the one thing I felt I was missing in my interactions with her was empathy. It was pretty robotic, in-and-out that's it. I felt like I was just another case for her. Karen, in the other hand, has made me feel like I matter and she is invested in helping. She is the only therapist that I have encountered so far that is not about the money she's going to be making by seeing  you. She gives herself entirely to you. She gives you her full attention and if she feels that your case needs extra time, she accommodates her schedule and yours. She actually cares about the person and their well being. There are no words to express how grateful I am to have found Karen Chambre. She is truly one of a kind. I thank God and my lucky stars to have found such a caring, loving, funny, professional, knowledgeable therapist like Karen Chambre.

I hate to do this, but considering Karen is a mental health practitioner I think it's important. During our 1st Zoom call, I entered the call while she was on with another patient & heard & saw the end of their session. She apologized but then it happened again at the end of my session when her next patient logged on during our call & heard & saw the end of our session. This is a huge breach of patient confidentiality. She apologized once more & said it wouldn't happen again. Sadly, the same thing happened during our 2nd session as she uses the same Zoom ID & password day after day with every patient she has. She apologized & said she would fix the problem & call back in a few minutes. 20 minutes went by & no call from Karen. I ended up having to reschedule my session for another day. That session was scheduled for today & Karen was a no-show. I will never see this therapist again and am worried about her caring for other people. This is unacceptable behavior from a therapist!

Karen is a warm caring therapist who has been able to help me through the struggles in my life

Karen Chambre is the BEST therapist anyone could every find! PLEASE DISREGARD ANY COMMENTS/REVIEWS  BY SOMEONE NAMED "Trish" or signing her name "T.B".  In my opinion, this woman is a complete nut...truly out of control...trying to hurt the one who tried to help her.  Doesn't that sound like a classic case of a nut job.  AND SHE IS CHANGING HER NAME all the time.(T.B, Trisha B, Patricia, etc.) STOP IT!!!

I was shocked when I saw the awful review given to Karen Chambre. She has been my therapist for many years. She is extremely compassionate and I have benefited greatly from her. I have become much more confident in both my career and relationships. I true. Hope this negative review does not effect people going to see her. I can honestly say she has been the best therapist I have ever seen
