If I could leave 0 stars I would. This dr should not even be practicing anymore. She prescribed 3 new medications over the phone to m brother WITHOUT seeing him or even talking to him on the phone His xwife called the dr and requested it. This is WRONG These pill were for a condition he has never been diagnosed with It turned him into a zombie falling all the time. Another dr couldn’t believe he was ever even prescribed these meds. He stopped all the meds she prescribed him and was back to normal. 100% UNACCEPTABLE DO NOT see this dr.

Dr Mary Chau has been our family’s primary doctor for years. She is very sweet and cares about her patients. She has gone above and beyond to take care of our medical needs.

Dr. Chau is the best primary care physician I have ever had. She is very caring and has great bedside manner. She always listened to every concern I have even if it made the appointment a little longer. Her front staff was always nice and cordial to me. They even waived a fee one time for canceling an appointment last minute. I will always be grateful for this doctor and her staff.

Staff has the most horrible attitude out of any place we've ever been to! They are rude and inconsiderate, yell at patients, promise one thing and once you agree they change their actions. I cannot emphasize how rude this office is. They don't even try to show compassion to patients. They don't care about their patients and only about money (they charge 10 times more than their said rate). They treat everyone only as money bags. Also four hour wait time! But the attitude is absolutely unacceptable!

I have been seeing Dr. Chau for a few years, even after re-locating to San Jacinto I stayed with her because I trust her. Staff is extremely efficient and professional and I can usually get into see her with little advance notice. She is a very warm and caring person, great traits in my opinion for a Doctor to express. I highly recommend her!

The only reason this woman is getting one star is because zero is not an option. I have been a Nurse for over 20 years and I am currently in school to become a NP. This sorry excuse for a provider is so condescending and rude. I don’t know how anyone would think she is a good doctor. Her tone and affect are bland and out of touch. Her bedside manner is deplorable and borderline abuse. I would not recommend this “Doctor” if a loaded gun was held to my head. Shot me, I would rather die than be seen by her.

I should have read these reviews before I signed on with this doctor. Dr Chau herself is nice enough, when you get into a room with her.Outside of that, her office constantly schedules appointments that are not needed, and try to shame you or withhold necessary prescriptions should you decline the appointment.A few weeks ago I was urgently see her because I needed a prescription for blood thinner. I had seen her for this previously in which case she ran tests, got me to agree to weekly blood tests and then wanted the cardiologist to fill it. Long story short, I was referred back to my primary to write the prescription to which case she insisted to see me again urgently.I scheduled this appointment, and a medical transport as I am mostly home bound. The ride service ran late, but I kept the doctors office notified every step of the way, including when we left the house and that we were going to be late. They said it was fine, but to hurry. Keep in mind I was already late for this appointment when I left the house and called the doctor. We arrived roughly 15 minutes later to which I got a call in the parking lot, informing me that I would have to reschedule. I informed them that I was already in the parking lot and would be there in a few minutes. She informed me that if we did not get there in 30 seconds, I would not be seen. Sensing urgency, the driver of my ride service sprinted to the office while pushing my wheelchair. We arrived 2 minutes later. The appointment was for noon. We got there 17 minutes late. We called at noon to inform them we would be late. They said, “Hurry”.Here is where it gets unprofessional. Nobody told me there was a 15 minute rule. I’ve dealt with doctors who had them and because I communicate when I am running late (It does happen with medical ride services), we have always been able to cancel without me leaving the house. This nurse at the counter informed me that an office manager, who is not in the office, made the decision that I will not be seen. I was panicking, but I was polite and told her that I did not wish to reschedule but that I would like to call my case manager. She didn’t say anything for 5 minutes while I tried over and over to reach someone. Apparently my case manager was at lunch. At this point I was about to figure out my next step when the front desk nurse informed me that if I wasn’t going to reschedule that I would need to leave Immediately or she would be calling the police to have me removed.At this point, I fired my doctor. I don’t like to do things like this, and to be honest I was loyal to a somewhat hostile staff for over a year as i wanted to work with the system. That threat after being blown off so completely over an appointment they told me was critical was the last straw. They should have informed me about the 15 minute rule when I informed them I was running late. They could have kindly asked me to leave the building if they wanted to go to lunch so bad. I probably still would have ended up finding a new doctor, but it would have been more amicable. I definitely wouldn’t be posting this warning to others under those circumstances.Let this stand as a warning about using this doctor. It is not a review. It is a warning that you need to have all of your ducks in a row and expect to go to a lot of unessesary appointments. If you are handicapped or homebound, find another doctor.Also it’s important to not to the handicapped, this doctors office is by far the least handicapped accessible of any office I have ever visited. To get there you must cross a courtyard, ride an elevator, and then travel around the whole building through an outdoor catwalk.
