List of Amin Milki's Reviews
Amazing doctor! Everything about this clinic and doctor has been super positive for us. Grateful for having found him!
I had a virtual visit with Dr. Milki the day before yesterday, and I was very impressed after talking to him - he was much more prepared compared to the other fertility doctors I've talked to. He asked a lot of very important questions, and delved deep into the thought process. One thing I noted also was that he had actually gone over all my results, reports the day before and was very quick with figuring out the cycle dates I ovulated etc (I dont know how he did that all in his head so quickly! But often when I talked to other fertility doctors, they would fumble and just ask me instead of I knew the cycle date I ovulated, the last day of the cycle etc..) It gave me a lot of confidence that he wasn't missing important information, and I didnt feel worried that I have to be the proactive one here, versus the doctor. He had even read up on notes from my gyn from 6 years ago (my gyn never gave me that confidence)Also, he wasnt rushing to do more procedures on me just for the sake of doing them (which was the feel I got from the more business-like fertility clinics ), and I also didnt have to go through a nurse to get to talk to him directly. He spent a lot of time with me answering all my questions (and I had so many!). I felt very positive after talking to him, and felt that he was actually on my side. I can tell he's a really good person.Very highly recommend him.NS
Talked over me, or at me, for the entire visit. Did not let me say much of anything. Interrupted me and talked over me every time I tried to talk. Knowledgeable but definitely felt like he was trying to get rid of me. Will not return.
He's the best there is. Went to him after being pushed to do donor egg by another doc. He understood my case, tried a new protocol and I was pregnant in weeks. I have 3 teenagers now. He's their Godfather.
Absolutely amazing doctor!!! He's so great and has such empathy. He listens to you and truly acknowledges you as a patient, as a person, & as a woman. I was referred to him by my coworker who also has a nothing to say but GREATNESS about him. Like her, my husband and I had a consult with him. Then a couple of months later boom we were pregnant. Again like my coworker says, he's our good luck charm. I guess we simply needed his blessing. Haha Jokes aside he's great and really values you. IHIGHLY recommend him & I've already been referring him to others I know.
Thank you Dr. Milki! Our son Joseph Ram Raihman was born May 1, 2016. You helped make our dreams come true. This baby is a little Angel. I don't know how I can ever thank you enough Doc you are the BEST!
With tons of negative review flowing around about the Stanford fertility clinic, I indeed found myself being the lucky one with Dr. Milki.Initially with Freyja clinic at Redwood City, they rejected me saying we didn't meet their IUI standard, which I was in doubt because my gut tells me we are not bad enough to go straight to IVF immediately. Instead of drawing a hard line just based on stats, Dr Milki actually look into our detailed situation and told us we *should* start with unmedicated IUI first since our chances are still high, then move gradually into more advanced treatment. With the 2nd IUI cycle I conceived. I like the way he sees patient and their big pictures, not just isolating one factors and drill down making decisions based on that. Also, a sense of humor from him is very appreciated, knowing the journey can be stressful, small laughs in procedure room is fun :)
Dr. Milki is a true professional, a very hard working doctor who goes out of his way to help his patients. He is a very honest person and tells you things as they are without too much sugar coating. I felt I could trust his advice. I had three IVF cycles with him and although none of them ended up with a positive pregnancy I never thought it was because of something he or Stanford could have done better.
Dr. Milki is the best doctor I have ever had, and I've been to many for all different reasons. He is the most well-read, intelligent, reasoned doctor - he can answer any question with the most current state of research, calculate probabilities of different scenarios on the fly, etc. He is highly skilled physically for high precision and minimal pain. He is gentle, sensitive, emotionally supportive, and the perfect balance of seriousness with a bit of humor, and very efficient. He is extremely honest about the state of the field, likely outcomes, etc. and tries to minimize cost for the patient. He's very humble, an amazing human. Because of him, we've been incredibly fortunate to have two children (8yr boy, 8 month girl). Though we did two retrievals with him, both children actually came from the first retrieval done (which resulted in my son and two frozen embryos...the first frozen didn't work, then I tried a second retrieval in an attempt for a backup plan, then tried the second frozen embryo which led to our daughter). I would have written all of my comments about Dr. Milki before things worked out with my daughter, even if things hadn't worked out. This is because of the extensive research and exploration I did over a year's period to try to improve my chances (being over 41yrs)...Dr. Milki proved himself (for the second time) to be all of the amazing things above.
It's been a long road. Pregnant on second iui but miscarried and been trying with milki for one year. It's not rocket science ladies- IVF and iui have set protocols. All the docs know their stuff. This road n is emotional and hard and he is very cheerful level headed and calm. He treats his patients with tlc which is important when you already feel like damaged goods but never encourages sulking or pity parties but is optimistic.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
