List of Andrew Ng's Reviews
Very bad service.. Recommend not to schedule appointment with doctor Ng.
Dr. Ng is very helpful to us first time parents. He cares to listen and explain the diagnosis process patiently. My only qualm is with pamf helpline which doesn’t share phone messages in timely manner with care team and could make parents anxious with a sick child, we expect a timely response. Dr. Ng however suggested we drop him a message and more often or not we have gotten quicker responses through offline messages
If i good give no star i would like to do that. My son is seeing this doctor for years now. We have moved to different state but visit him once a year if we come to California. We travelled 11 hours and was late for 7 mins and he didnt want to see my son. I requested that we traveled from out of state for 11 hours so if he could manage and ready to wait. His answer was no. What kind of doctor or human u are??? Though i understand that we were 7 mins late but still people try to help in this situations. He is even not a very effective doctor or some thing special it was just that he was seeing my son for a long time so we want to do check up when we visit the place. This doctor is no to me. After this i have discussed this my friend as both our kids use to visit him. My friend also had extremely bad experience where her daughter is extremely uncomfortable to visit him. Anyways it doesnt surprise seeing other reviews here.
Doctor for both of children. He has been thorough and so helpful every time we have spoken. He was excellent with the children when they were in and put them at ease. He explained everything clearly and has been extremely efficient with calls re results or clarification.
Great with kids, Dr. Ng always listens closely and is open to any questions.
I've been taking my two sons to Dr. Ng for about 5 years. We really like him. I feel he does exactly what is needed in terms of diagnosis and treatment, tells you what you can do to help yourself, tells you what to do next if the problem doesn't resolve with the current treatment, and lets you know when it could be appropriate to call him again. He does not leap in with unnecessary procedures. His communication is excellent (which, as an accountant, I especially appreciate). My kids like him a lot too. We saw him today and my 13-year old said "he's pretty chill" which, if you understand teen communication, is a huge compliment.I would recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician for their kids.
For an 8th grade kid's mouth canker sores, his treatment was salt water rinses at home. The bill was $325. *With* insurance! PAMF billing said that Ng charged $325 for a "medium complexity problem" to which his cure was saltwater. PAMF billing also said the $325 reflected Ng talking for 30 minutes. I wondered at the time why it seemed like Ng talked so long about stuff which had nothing to do with the mouth canker sores. Andrew Ng was the worst case of a doctor giving that "dishonest car mechanic"-like vibe of pumping up a medical bill artificially and unethically.
We luckily found him and we are so happy that he accepted to be PCP for our newborn. Very great doctor. We are first-time parents and this Dr goes above and beyond to explain what is normal and is not. The great thing is he explains the root cause behind the problem and helps you make an informed decision.
We had Dr. Ng as our son's pediatrician when he was first born. He is truly an amazing Doc! So informative and extremely caring. He makes you feel extremely comfortable and help educate you on exactly what is going on and what you should expect moving forward. He not only cares for the baby but also makes sure parents are doing great. Super prompt in replying messages. I highly recommend him .
We have a very good experience for out teenage son.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
