List of Ann Wong's Reviews
Dr. Wong leaves a lot to be desired. I would give her 0 stars if I could. I had been receiving care from an out of state neurologist for my migraines due to COVID and not being able to locate a doctor who was taking new patients. My neurologist and Dr. Wong spoke about what medications I could take at the beginning of my pregnancy (8/9 weeks). Right at 20 weeks, Dr. Wong told me I was considered high risk because of the medications the neurologist and Dr. Wong decided on, and that I would need to start seeing a MFM doctor. I asked why she allowed me to take the migraine medications the neurologist and her perscribed. And she said, "Oh, I let the neurologist decide because that is their expertise." HELL. If I knew that what I was taking could impact my baby, I wouldn't have listened to her or my neurologist. At my first MFM appointment, the doctor told me that there was potential heart and brain abnormalities due to the medication I was taking, and asked me to come back in a week later. I saw Dr. Wong after the intitial MFM appointment, but not before my follow-up appointment with MFM. I was stressed beyond belief. That day I was sent to the lab to give a urine and blood sample. She offered no reasoning. I had to ask the nurse why I needed to go. She told me because my blood pressure reading of 134/82 was high. Only when I came home, did I find out through Dr. Google that it was because she needed/wanted to rule out preeclampsia. She confirmed this at my next appointment. I expressed my disappointment with their lack of communciation. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and thought maybe she assumed I knew. Then a few weeks go by, and I do my glucose test. I don't get a call from Dr. Wong, or from a nurse reporting my results. Instead I found out through their online portal that I had gestational diabetes. Even after writing to Dr. Wong and calling the office, she never returned my calls. Needless to say, telling someone they have gestation diabetes through email and their online portal is the very defintion of lack of care.I was able to locate a fabulous doctor after this - and I am so glad I switched. I highly recommend Dr. Fierro in Los Gatos. I wouldn't ever consider going to see Dr. Wong or another PAMF doctor ever again. The other big kicker - she was never on time. I waited anywhere between 30 minutes and 2 hours for her. That's truly unacceptable. A phone call should have been had, so patients are sitting in the waiting room during COVID times for this long!!!
I have been seeing Dr Wong for about 10 years - for routine checkups and birth control, etc until now. Recently I’ve had severe bleeding and cramping due to fibroids. I am not the best patient, and Dr Wong is very understanding and compassionate. She was patient with my many questions (I did my research on Google!) and took time to make sure I fully understood all my options. She also always answers my (many) questions very quickly! Highly recommend!
I would never recommend Dr Wong.Has the poorest bedside manner and believes in scaring the patient beyond belief about complications that are least likely to happen.
Dr. Wong is warm and caring, takes time to answer your questions, is very knowledgeable. Appointment wait time can be a bit long but she always gets back when you call or email with concerns. Highly recommend!
Dr. Wong has been my GYN for more than 10 years. It has mostly been annual checkups, birth control, etc... but in the past year, I have had more and more irregular periods, with very heavy flow, pain and clotting. Honestly, it was taking over my life. Dr. Wong was very kind and patient with me and my many questions and fears. I was diagnosed with a submucosal fibroid and while surgery was probably the best option, it was the last resort in my opinion. She took that seriously and we went through the other possible treatments, but when they didn't help, I went ahead and agreed to the surgery. I consider myself extremely fortunate that Dr. Wong is also an experienced and skilled surgeon so I knew I was working with someone I could trust. I had the procedure last week and it was nerve-wracking but fairly easy, very little pain. Still waiting to see the results but it takes time for the body to re-adjust. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!
Dr. Wong is a very caring doctor. I had a long labor that started early in the morning into past midnight and even though it was not her shift, she told me she would come check in on me, and she did and ended up doing my C -section hours past midnight. Throughout all of my visits, she was kind and clear in her communication. I was anxious as a first time mom, and her professionalism and quiet confidence put me at ease.
I have been Dr Wong's patient for over 10 years. Mostly, it was routine annual checks, birth control, simple stuff. Recently, I have been experiencing pain, severe bleeding, and passing clots due to a fibroid, and Dr Wong has been sooooo helpful and responsive during this scary time. She or her team always gets back to me the same day, and she even made an appointment to go over all my options with me for 45 minutes. She is very knowledgeable, reassuring, kind and professional. I haven't decided if I actually will go through surgery, though.... that's my fear talking, nothing to do with her!
I had a unhappy experience with Dr. Ann Wong. She looked not really care about my symptoms and firmly believe IT IS JUST PMS! She did ultrasonic but said nothing. Since the date I visited her, the symptoms are never dissapeared. I would definately not to see her again, although I only see her once.
Been receiving very bad experience with Dr Wong's responsiveness on messages. Her and her team usually take 2 days to respond to msgs - vs ALL other PAMF doctors that I've worked with respond within 1-2 hours or less. At this moment I'm waiting for her auth on a critical prescription and her team hasn't responded, it's close to end of business day on friday and I am risking not having access to the prescription for the whole weekend or having to pay a very high amount out of pocket. I've sent two critical msgs and have called her office.
Dr. Wong took care of my two pregnancy, and happened to deliver them. (The two labors went on coincidentally when she was on call.) She is a professional, knowledgeable, skillful and reliable doctor. Especially my first labor, the on call doctor on previous day already had me sign the c-section consent form and then I was on Dr. Wong's duty. She let me rest for a while before continue next oxcytocin bottle, so that the contraction strength revive with rested muscle and I delivered the baby NATUALLY!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
