This review is for Dr. Marfatia the pulmonologist. I'm a bit baffled by the other negative review I've seen about him online. He's thorough, very personable, and explains your condition and options to you as your partner with your health. My favorite Dr. by far that I've seen in Sutter health network and 1st review I felt compelled to write.

Hot tempered and quick to get angry. He needs anger management. His nurses are like little giggly middle school. girls who don’t have a clue what they are doing. And this dud of a doctor is useless at diagnosing lung illnesses. Whoever hired this incompetent doctor must have been drunk.

This feedback is about professionalism more than the effectiveness as a doctor. He was supposed to see my dad. When we reached his office, we were informed that our appointment was an hour ago. We never got a reminder call that we usually get the day before so all we had to go by was what my dad remembered when he set the appointment. Anyway, mistakes happen so it was not the issue. However when we asked for a new time to see the doctor, we were informed that Dr. Marfatia has put a note to not allow the staff to schedule an appointment with my dad EVER. Just because he got the appointment time wrong and came in an hour late. We are looking for a new doctor now.
