List of Diaz-Olson Physical Therapy And Sports Rehabilitation's Reviews
The staff are amiable. The care is excellent, too. I wish they had more availability but it's fair, they have clients!
I stumbled upon this place, having done a random Google and Yelp search and I'm so glad that I did. I've been working with a PT named Heather once a week for just over a month after really messing up my ankle (to the point that the surgeon was 90% confident I would require surgery). After just the first session, my ankle was significantly better and it has just been continuous improvement week after week. Having worked with multiple physiotherapist at different clinics all over the world thanks to different injuries, it is very clear that Heather really knows her stuff and is very good at what she does. She spends a considerable amount of time hands on, working directly with the injury and scar tissue, which I find the most helpful. The place is well, equipped, clean, and has a friendly welcoming environment. I haven't worked with any of the other therapist, so I can't speak to their skills but I would definitely recommend this place and Heather for those in need of physiotherapy.
I’ve worked with Duffy for 6 month rehabilitating my right ankle after surgery. Duffy is very knowledgeable and skillful Physical Therapist. He did great soft tissue work and challenged me with appropriate exercises
I called around Sunnyvale PT places and found Diaz-Olson closest. I called them in mid-October and after confirming they accepted my insurance (Medi-Medi) asked my Stanford surgeon to send the referral to them. I didn't hear from Diaz Olson, thinking surgeon's office hadn't sent the referral I called surgeon's office On Nov. 4th, but couldn't talk to staff. They called next monday and confirmed referral was faxed to Diaz-Olson 3 times (Oct. 31, Nov. 4, Nov. 7th.) So I waited to hear from Diaz-Olson as my shoulder and elbow were hurting, and I needed therapy. 3 weeks passed, and they didn't call; so I called them today. The man who answered confirmed they'd received surgeon's referrals. I asked so why you haven't called me for last 3+ weeks? "We had to check with our billing company to see if we can take your insurance" Then he asked for my insurance info. If the billing co. didn't have my insurance info they couldn't check on that, so he was dishonest (lying) when telling me the story about billing company. Besides there is nothing to check: they either take gov't insurance or they don't. So clearly they didn't care about my health and kept me waiting for no good reason - or they would've called to update me. I waited 3 weeks, while needing PT for painful shoulder/elbow for Diaz-Olosn to call and schedule an appt. I needed a month ago, but they didn't. I'm sure if I had waited longer, I wouldn't hear from them either. Overall impression from just interacting at an admin level: disorganized, and dishonest. Don't know about how good/bad are they at clinical/treatment level. But if the first impression is any indicator, they are not worth trying. I'll go to PAMF, where although their PT's are busy but the staff are not dishonest and can schedule an appt. without keeping patients waiting for nonsensical excuses.
Duffy helped me over the course of 5 months recover motion and strength after getting elbow surgery following an elbow dislocation. I have nothing but positive things to say. Duffy was very professional and knowledgeable in his treatment. He always provided thorough explanations whenever new exercises were introduced and how they were going to help. The aides were also extremely friendly and made me look forward to coming into PT each week.
I have been to Diaz Olson PT on a number of occasions and have always been impressed with their expertise, patience and individualized approach. Enrique, Mike and most recently Scott have been excellent. Scott has gone out of his way to tailor a personalized program and I can't thank him enough. The physical therapist devote the appointment to one on one attention which I infrequently encountered in other offices.
Enrique, and Scott are excellent therapists! I have seen them for almost a year for nerve pinch and frozen shoulder.
Mike is really nice, patient and helpful.
Very professional stuff
Michael, and everyone at Diaz-Olson Physical Therapy, are top notch in professional service and results. They tailor the therapy to your specific needs, they do not do the cookie cutter approach. They explain the physiology behind your problem and then work with you to overcome the problem, willingly answering all your questions.. They genuinely care about your progress, devoting the necessary time and patience needed for your recovery. I have been to more than my fair share of physical therapists over the years and those at Diaz-Olson Physical Therapy are some of the best I have ever met."

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
