List of Grace Guo's Reviews
Dr. Guo is a true advocate for her patients. I have been seeing her for about 20 years or more as my primary physician. She has compassion and truly cares about my health and well-being. I have had to transfer my care to Kaiser due to a change in my insurance. What a difference! Dr. Guo always gave a thorough medical exam and updated my family health history each year. She is a great listener and answers all my questions and concerns. She is up to date on all the latest medical recommendations appropriate for my age. My husband also was cared by doctor Guo and he received the same level of excellent care. We will truly miss her and her healthcare team. Hopefully, our insurance will change in the future. My husband and I would love to have Dr. Guo as our primary physician for our care.
Annual health check: Only checked my lungs, heart beats and ears. Not checking the knee reflexes, throats and eyes. Who knows what else she doesn’t check. She then went through a list of vaccines you need to get, don’t know if this is just to get money from insurance or not then she sends you to the labs for blood samples. 2/5

Worst doctor with bad bedside manners. Not emphatic at all. Very cold and makes you feel like you are wasting her time. You feel very rushed through the appointment and very rude as she just wants you to answer to her questionnaire without a chance to explain your symptoms. Very cut and dry and cold. Would never go back. She's a robot who doesn't care about her patients.
I am sorry to say but I had a bad experience. I recently went to Dr Grace as I had ear pain and I was diagnosed with a small pimple and prescribed antibiotics drops . As days passed my pain became extreme and I met another doctor after 3 days and they diagnosed it as boil which had grown too huge by then with unbearable pain and immediately booked an ent appointment. The ent extracted it and the procedure itself was so painful and am still recovering from it . I wish they would have diagnosed my case as boil ( furnucle) and immediately given oral antibiotics I would n't have to suffer this much and it wouldn't have disrupted 10 days of our lives which affected my work and my family .
Never met a doctor who is this cold and lacks bedside manners. She cancelled my annual physical exam appointment which I booked months earlier, at the last minute saying I was not her Primary Care Provider. I have PPO insurance so technical there is zero reason for me to have a PCP. And why wait till the last minute to cancel?I recently went to see her about a different problem (I only went to her because my PCP, yes I found a different and nice doctor later, did not have any availability for a while). She asked if there is anything else I wanted to ask. So I spoke to her about a skin issue. She immediately said it could be cancer and to go talk to a dermatology. All I asked about was some dark pigmentation that had occurred years ago. She had zero interest to talk about it. No doctor concludes just like that, that it could be cancer.Needless to say, I regretted bringing up the skin issue at the visit. I was already planning to go see a dermatologist. Waste of time talking to his lady.Oh by the way, my mask slipped below the nose (still covered my mouth) while I spoke. She rudely interrupted and said, you need to put the mask over your nose. Anyway, she will be the last doctor I will want to see anymore.
I saw Dr. Guo because my regular doctor was on maternity leave. Like other patients mentioned, she charged me for an additional office visit during an annual physical exam because I asked "unrelated questions." I don't know how brief and simple questions about acne and menstruation could be unrelated to my health. She did not tell me during my exam that I would be charged extra, and I only found out when I received my bill. Despite arguing this charge, it was not lifted. Dr. Guo is also very direct in how she speaks. I don't mind that as much as I mind being misled and overcharged, but would like to reiterate that if it's helpful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
