Joyce Ang's Online Review Report Card

Both my kids (4 year old and 1 yr old) are under Dr Angs care since their birth. I am very much satisfied with her service. She always responds to doubts via messages within hours. She is super patient in answering questions during the visit and never rushes the visit.

Our experience with healthcare in the bay area is that you need to be proactive and be willing to work together with your healthcare team to own your own problems. We've seen multiple pediatricians across both PAMF and Stanford systems and have found that Joyce is the perfect balance between idealistic and pragmatic that works for us. She isn't pushy with her opinions and gives us time to express how we feel and then gives her professional input. She also is able to make time to see us rather than push us off to one of her colleagues which is great to help build consistent rapport with our little ones.

We relocated to the bay area two years ago, and took my daughter in for her 3 year old wellness check since she is one of the few doctors who accepts new patients. She did growth measurements and etc, handed out stickers at the end, and did not mention anything about my daughter's vaccine situation(or simply mentioned everything is up-to-date, can't recall). And when registering for school, we're told by the school district's office that she's missing four vaccine shots!!! I'm so shocked cuz nothing was mentioned to us during her last wellness check. It should totally be doctor's responsibility during the wellness check to see if anything like this is missing. Now because of her huge oversight, we'd have to book appointment during covid times to go to the hospital again, however, we were refused to be seen by the doctor due to my daughter is having allergy cough(no any other symptoms). And Dr Ang acted surprised when I told her that her allergy comes every year at this time, and could last for months. And we got escorted out of hospital. Now I've booked covid test for my daughter, but we will definitely stop seeing Dr Ang due to her incompetency, cuz these unhappy experience shouldn't have happened in the first place if she has done her job! And I strongly suggest against her to others looking for doctors.

My baby has been under Dr Angs care since she was born, I’m very happy with her service. She never rushes the exam, always answers questions patiently, the nurses are super nice too. In addition, she always reply my message within hours, and the messaging / scheduling system is easy to use too.

Dr Ang is absolutely wonderful! She was very patient with all my new mom worries and questions. Her bedside manner is amazing. I felt as if I was talking with a friend and didn't feel silly asking a million questions like some appointments have felt. She's very gentle and very thorough in her exam, my son loves her! I originally switched to her office as it is closer to home than our last pediatrician, but I am so glad we did it. Always on time and much nicer staff. Érica at the check in desk is a sweetheart.

If I could give a 1/2 star.. I would!!! Don't waste your time! Seriously stay away from this place! I never write reviews but going to Dr.Joyce has been one of the worst experiences of my life.

We came for annual physical exam which covered by my insurance company. But, we got a big bill after visited Joyce since she added up an additional service without the patient knowing.We have never paid annual physical exam in WA with our doctors there!

Best doctor. She is very Polite and does not rush to complete the examination. She takes atmost care and time to talk with my baby.
