List of MIchelle Y Cheng's Reviews
Unhelpful Visit My recent visit with Dr. Michelle Y. Cheng was a very unpleasant and unhelpful experience. I found Dr. Cheng to be cold and impatient throughout our interaction.During the consultation, I felt that Dr. Cheng merely repeated information that I could easily find online, without offering any personalized insight, practical advice, or deeper explanation for my condition. The entire visit lacked the human element and empathetic understanding one expects from a medical professional. I left feeling unheard and without any clearer understanding of my symptoms or a plan of action.Frankly, I found interactions with AI models to be more like a human being in terms of providing helpful, nuanced information and empathetic understanding compared to this visit. I had hoped for a more supportive and informative consultation, but unfortunately, this was not the case.
Dr. Cheng is professional with a clear and easy to understand manner about her. Best dermatologist I've ever had. She caught things elusive to others for 50+ years by being thorough, asking questions, and being patient while listening to my answers.
Doctor does not care Doctor was disinterested and rushed during the visit. In an out in less than 10 minutes even though I still had questions. Spent about 5 seconds examining my skin. I wish I had read her reviews before booking appointment. Bad reviews on multiple sites, I now know why.
Dr. Cheng was a good listener and very informative.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
