Dr. Hillard is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly while still being very to the point. My daughter sees her for minor menstrual issues that we must be very carful with as she has other severe health complications and Dr. Hillard was very knowledgeable in her rare disease. She is incredibly patient oriented and will speak to your child, not you, to get information. She makes it very clear that the patient is the one in charge of his/her/ their medical care, which for teenagers is just so important. I cannot recommend her more!

Dr. Hillard did an emergency surgery on our daughter. We met her 15 min before the surgery. She took the time to explain all the surgery to us and our daughter.After the surgery she came back to the waiting room to tell us how surgery had gone, which fortunately was ok. We saw her back 5 weeks after that and she will continue to be our daughter's doctor. She seemed to be very well informed and always willing to explain and answer to all our questions.

She is extremely rude, condescending, and demeaning. She won't listen to anything that you say, and takes none of your comments or opinions into consideration. She is very condescending in nature and the way she treats you makes you feel like you are stupid. She is obviously very prideful and she treats all her patients like her inferiors. And in the end, her diagnosis was inaccurate and her methods of treatment did nothing to help my condition. Which really was not surprising, because she took no time to listen to anything and spent very little time in the room all together. She is just plain awful when it comes to bedside manner.

Not a fan. Did not make me feel comfortable at all. I'm sure she's a really nice person, but she was clearly annoyed when I couldn't answer her questions and made no attempt to hide her annoyance or make me not feel like an idiot. In fact, she kinda did the opposite. She's rather school marm-ish and strict. If you're cool with that, and can answer detailed questions about your gynecological history off the top of your head, she'll be fine. But if you're like me and can't immediately answer a question like, "How heavy was your period four years ago?" you'll feel like an idiot. Also, I'm not sure how LGBT-friendly she is. Maybe our personalities just didn't mesh, though.
