Dr. Pun is not only fellowship trained (if you're getting major orthopedic surgery, ALWAYS go to the surgeon that is fellowship trained in that specific surgery) but she also has an incredible bedside manner. She never makes my appts feel rushed but somehow manages to be closer on the punctual side (sometimes the xray dept gets backed up and that's not her fault). I had 3 prior surgeries done on one hip before I saw her, and have had the last three all with her. I don't know how she does it but there is a night and day difference in how the recoveries have gone under her care- less pain, barely any nerve damage, and thorough followup. I also adore her staff (her FNP Francesca and scheduler Stella are the ones I talk to the most). Stanford orthopedic wing also has amazing nurses and super caring CNAs (I have been lucky to get Virginia and a couple other faves during all three stays). Dr. Pun & staff are excellent and she really cares about her patients. I trust her implicitly. She as well as Dr. Bellino are also staying on top of the latest research and they also are running a study, so if you want the real life orthopedic version of Dr. Meredith Grey, look no farther than Dr. Pun.

I highly recommend Dr. Pun to my family, friends and acquaintances. Her expertise, dedication and care were all truly exceptional. Under emergency circumstances, Dr. Pun repaired my severely fractured femur. During the year long recovery process, Dr. Pun and her staff were most supportive in every way possible.
