List of Jeanne Plumb's Reviews
Dr. Plumb is attentive, caring, and listens to her patient’s concerns. Even on a busy day in ski season, she took her time and even called after hours to follow up. What an amazing human, let alone doctor.
I think Se. Plumb's patience is great. She also does a a good job of digging a little deeper to see what the real underlying cause may be. Doctors generally do no get the recognition they deserve when they can help pu he patient and the family at ease and the reason certain actions should be taken. Good job!
I found Dr. Plumb to be thorough and good at follow through. She listened to questions and provided clear answers.
My husband and I plan to spend more of our retirement years summering at our home at Lake Tahoe and we were so pleased to meet Dr. Plumb, a local primary doctor very conveniently located to Tahoe City. I have a chronic health issue which is being treated by a specialist at UCSF and it was comforting to learn that the Truckee/Tahoe medical group is using the same EPIC, My Chart internet program as UCSF which will allow for easy coordination between doctors. We appreciate the Groups professionalism. 9/5/2019
We took our daughter of 2 months to see Dr Plumb and wanted to get more information on vaccines so we could make the right choice for our family. However, when we voiced this, she became very condescending and aggressive, using words like "these diseases kill babies" "We have seen babies in our community die" and "if she gets sick, the hospital will nuke her with antibiotics" We ended up getting her shots out of fear and did not feel supported as a family in any way. We will not go back.
I was treated with indifference by this doctor, to the point of her being rude to me. She made me feel like my condition was hopeless and told me that no surgeon would touch me. All of this without any in depth examinations. Never again will I go to that office. Thankfully I have found a doctor who will take my condition seriously and has helped me.
Dr Plumb is the best family practitioner on the planet!!!!!!.....Dr Plumb and Tahoe Truckee Medical Group is one of the main reasons I find it hard to leave Tahoe yet at my age, I am due for climate and altitude change. Do not hesitate to use these Drs. for your medical needs.
This doctor did not treat me with respect nor did the office staff. She was no help in diagnosis. She hardly looked at me while I was in her office as she was so busy looking at her computer and typing. I left feeling very degraded and helpless.
Dr. Jeanne is a very thorough Doctor, she makes me and my kids feel at ease during our appointments. She diagnosed my son for glasses and has helped me through many medical issues. She takes the time to explain things and doesn't judge me for my beliefs or decisions. Her office staff is great and she is wonderful at following up with phone calls to see how we are doing after our appointments. I would highly recommend this Dr.!
I was severely sick, this doctor tried to tell me it was all in my head for a long time. My illness started with an infection. I was ill with tick borne infections that seemed to trigger ME/CFS. I had antibodies against Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (a potentially deadly tick disease) indicating past exposure, ehrlichiosis, and had a positive Western Blot test for Lyme Disease. She was very argumentative with me at times, and other times she was different. She had an unpredictable personality. She jumped from diagnoses from anxiety to bipolar to depression, all which I knew wasn't my problem. I did have anxiety as a symptom, but with tick borne disease Prior to diagnosis, I was in the ER dozens of times with a heart rate of over 200 bpm and blood pressure as high as 240/160. I would have new complaints every time I came to the clinic, and she always labeled it as anxiety. I was probably the joke of the clinic, but the joke was the doctor. Avoid this doctor and her ego like the plague!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
