During my medical visit everyone was professional, positive, sharp, enthusiastic, honest, prompt, courteous, efficient and went ‘above and beyond’ to ensure all my medical needs were achieved in a timely and efficient fashion. This resulted in a very positive experience and received my rare (especially in health care) 5-star rating. Bottom line: American Urgent Care Center is a fantastic example of dedication to customer service and satisfaction with a smile and a perfect example for all health care institutions to emulate.

The doctor in Tarzana branch is great and careful and has wonderful personality. The staff are nice too.

I went there for a recheck for my Covid test that was positive, to make sure I was clear with my significant other. My neighbors recommended this place. They were so nice, so efficient, so friendly,so careful. I'm definitely going back there again hopefully I won't need to!

I went to the urgent care with my wife for Covid Test yesterday.Dr. Newman welcomed us and not only he was very friendly but also he did all the tests even more than what we expected.I definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for Urgent Care.Bijan A

Dr. Newman and his staff are what medicine should strive to be. Little or no waiting time, attention to detail. If you are an existing patient your information is available quickly. You are taken into a state-of-the-art clean environment and your vitals are taken. Dr. Newman arrives right away and is ready to listen. He evaluates your situation and makes his recommendations. In my experience, he has been right on. He does not push medication if not needed. I have been there numerous times and always felt heard and cared for. I have also recommended him to friends and they had the same great experience. Thank you, Dr. Newman and staff, for providing genuine caring health care just like it used to be.

I got a appointment immediately on the day after Christmas. Dr. Neuman tested me for covid which I now have. I was able to get the Paxlovid prescription. They were great in follow up as well.

Came here just to be turned away:My boyfriend was involved in a hit & run incident on Christmas Eve and has a possible concussion with other symptoms as well. We walk in and the 2 front desk people look bored on their phones and simple desk work, it's holidays so it's slow I get it.But then she says she can try to run his insurance but then proceeds to tell him that he can't use it because he was in a car accident. It would be all out of pocket.I was in a car accident in January and I know for a FACT that is a lie. These people are scum & money grabbers. Go somewhere that ACTUALLY cares and wants to help people!!And to do this the day AFTER Christmas? The long dark haired girl and the guy with short dark hair did not seem to care about my partner at all. Healthcare is NOT suppose to turn away a person in need regardless of their situation.I WILL NO BE COMING BACK HERE!!!

Let me open this review by saying that I am a Board Certified California licensed Physician and Surgeon. I have visited American Urgent Care Center on at least four occasions for varying conditions. Plus, I have no personal or financial relationship with Dr. Newman or any member of his staff. Beyond that, I am not even a resident in the San Fernando Valley, and I drive 'over the hill' to get evaluation or treatment from Dr. Newman. I have always found Dr. Newman to be a kind, caring and professionally exceptional physician. His staff reflects his qualities. Last, I have recommended Dr. Newman to friends and family members who have all had similar urgent care experience with him and his staff. Need I say more?
