List of Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedics-Tarzana's Reviews
I was referred to Dr. Justin Koh for a ganglion cyst on my wrist. He was very professional and personable. He outlined all of my options for treatment and let me choose what worked best for me. Removal was quick and painless, and he was very thorough. Dr. Koh and his staff are efficient and welcoming. I had such a great experience here and I highly recommend anyone who needs orthopedic treatment to come here! They have a parking lot, for which they validate up to 1 hour.
I have been visiting Dr. Stone in Beverly Hills for a rotator cuff tear until they recently opened a location in Tarzana this last year. After cortisone injections failed to provide any relief I decided to try PRP (platelet rich injection) therapy before undertaking surgery as a last resort. Platelet rich therapy is obtained from one's own blood, that separates bioactive healing substances such as human growth factors through centrifugation. Once the platelets are harvested, they are injected into the damaged tissue where they are activated and release numerous growth factors into and surrounding the affected area. Some of these growth factors recruit stem cells that can create healthy new tissue. Contraindications include a painful treatment, as it relies on local inflammation to kickstart the healing process and the return to activities can take up to 6 weeks for tendon and ligament injections and 2-4 weeks for muscle injections. Fingers crossed!
My Doctor is Justin Koh. First, the front office is easy, approachable and nice! My visit was a second opinion for surgery due to Carpal tunnel syndrome. My first doctor was cold, uncommunicative, and explained nothing. I was given a EMG/NCS test and never broke down. Dr. Koh spent time to FIND those results then break down what it all meant. He takes his time and after it was determined I HAD to have the surgery. He explained TWO types of surgery. I'm a very active person and decided the quicker recovery one I will have done in the Fall. Dr Koh is warm, friendly and definitely 5 Star!
Great Surgeons, my husband spent 5 days in the Hospital and can't complain about his care
Just don't go, unless you know for a fact you are being admitted, the ER is a nightmare, staff is incredibly rude and have no heart, the staff once you get admitted are lovely, caring and this one star is only for the ER staff.
If you have to go to the doctor or you have to go to the hospital I’d say it’s the best one around five stars
Nurses are the face of any hospital, to their patients. Physicians aren't usually employees but privileged contractors. Ancillary staff such as lab and rad (depts that generate revenue) only have brief, task-oriented encounters with patients. Their courtesy and competency is important, too, but it's the nurses who spend the most time with patients, and not just task-oriented time but also as much comforting and supporting as we are allowed with ever-increasing demands to "work smarter". Nurses aren't a line-item revenue stream, but we make a CRITICAL impact on a hospital's reputation and PR. We're also the LARGEST group of healthcare providers in the hospital. C-S, you want to do the right thing here. And that's not to allow a male surgeon to sexually harass and physically and verbally assault female nurses. Do the right thing and de-credential Dr. Assil.
They prefer to back a surgeon who physically assaulted a nurse... if this "doctor' assaulted a woman walking away from him...I can only imagine what he does to his patients....
Not anywhere that will be able to attract high quality nurses for a long time, or patients for that matter. Who would feel safe at Cedars-Sinai now knowing what goes on? think about all the times it wasn't on a security tape, or the victim never spoke up. Thank you for speaking up Nurse Rickey. #STAMP
I am an RN in Ohio and am very concerned about the lack of discipline of Dr Assil and the retaliation towards the nurse that he assaulted! It is inexcusable to blame the victim! We are #silentnomore

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
