Dr. Chakrabarty is an amazing doctor. I trust him more then any other doctor I've ever had. He goes above and beyond to help you and so does his staff. He listens to your input and has such good bedside manner. I'm so grateful for this doctor. I would follow him everywhere. My whole family goes to Dr. Chakrabarty.

Most amazing doctor! He literally saved my life. I had been to many doctors and treatments did not seem to work all that well. After Dr. Chakrabarty started treating me things began to get under control. He nailed it! Too many details to explain, but absolutely on it. Would recommend him and his staff to anyone!

I saw Dr I Chakrabarty over a period of about 18 months. In that time, I was hospitalized multiple times & had multiple procedures done. I continued to worsen. I was severely anemic, underweight, on a feeding tube & had pneumonia from the last EGD he did, when I vomited into my lungs. When I called to schedule a follow up, his staff told me he could no longer see me. I was told no reason, except I owed over $200 on a bill. My insurance had paid thousands upon 1000’s already. They wouldn’t let me make an appt. I called everyone & finally got into Cedars-Sinai. On my first appt there, they hospitalized me for the next 40 days, figured out the problem and performed major surgery. I was septic and dying and Dr Chakrabarty refused to see me, apparently over a bill of a few hundred dollars. I think he was just out of his league & incapable of admitting it. Either way, if you have more than heartburn, go elsewhere.

Dr. Chakrabarty is extremely knowledgeable and caring. He has been on top of the case and the procedures needed. He has taken our concerns very seriously and he shows us how much he cares. He has gone above and beyond to ensure the next surgeon is set up for the subsequent surgeries and procedures needed. At the end of the day, we need doctors that care when you are faced with a serious illness. Dr. Chakrabarty shows through his actions that he absolutely cares.

I see PA Michelle Porter. She is AMAZING and BRILLIANT! She listens to me and provides excellent care. I feel very safe and comfortable with her in charge of my care. What an amazing experience from start to finish. Incredibly professional from completing my new patient registration, going over my history with Michelle Porter the nurse practitioner was just great and getting walk-through what I need to do before my procedure the day before was just straight to the point.
