List of Nicholas Ely's Reviews
2/7/2023I arrived at Grey Bill Medical group at the Temecula location for my 9:30 appointment with DR. Nicholas Ely, 15 minutes early as requested, with electronic paperwork all filled out, with copies in hand, so there were not delays on being seen. I know how frustrating it can be when people are late. I arrived and did your typical check in as you would normally, and then sat waiting for them to call me back, which was approximately 10 minutes. I was then triaged with getting the usual height, weight, etc, and then was directed to a room and then was greeted by the doctors assistant to do my vitals, and then the wait started. After waiting 30 minutes the assisting physician came into the room and then asked me to move to a different room and at this point I was frustrated. After being brought to the next room, she said that he was running behind, and would be in shortly. I then proceeded to wait an additional 30 minutes with no response from anyone. At this point, I was feeling forgot about and after doing my part and completing all paperwork and showing up early as requested I felt that waiting an hour to see a doctor that I've never seen for a wellness check up was excessive so I open the door told the assisting physician that I was canceling my appointment as I can no longer wait. She then told me that my appointment was for 10:15 which was not the case, which tells me they did not even book me for the right time that they gave me the appointment for, and then asked if I had paid for my Co-pay......WowI am leaving this review because I have been to this location in the past and had a great experience, and even though my previous Doctor was no longer there, I went because it was the first available appoint I could get, and went of past experiences, but it looks like things have changed and I wanted to share my experience.
I had an appointment with Dr. Ely today at 9 a.m. I showed up to my appointment 15 minutes early, but when I went to check-in, I was apparently at the wrong building. I attempted to call the office to find out where to go, and of course I couldn't get through as the line was busy. I do want to mention that I went to the building number and suite number they provided, but they never told me what building to specifically go to and they knew this was my first appointment. The office ended up calling me and I answered right away and asked where the correct office was. The office was next door to the one I was currently at. I walked over and arrived to my appointment at 9:04. After speaking with the receptionist, Dr. Ely refused to see me because my appointment was at 9 and I arrived at 9:04. No consideration for the fact that I was lost and did try and call the office, but the line was so busy that I couldn't get through. All of my paperwork was completed online the day before, so I really don't understand why he couldn't see me. The fact that Dr. Ely refused to make an exception and keep my appointment was beyond rude and lacked compassion. I do not want to receive care from a doctor who behaves in such a way. This experience was beyond disappointing. Thankfully the nurse practitioner stepped up and offered to see me in order to get the ball rolling. It is obvious that Dr. Ely is new to the field and clearly lacks a clear understanding of customer service. I am thankful he is not my primary physician.

Great Dr. he truly cares and is gifted in being a great physician. I'm grateful I found them. The office is very efficient and they care is what's most important. I recommend this office to my friends all the time. If you are looking for a great physician give this office a try!
Without revealing the nature of my health situation I can say that he was great and helpful each time I had an appointment with him. I like his conservative approach. He’s not ready to immediately prescribe. At least that’s my experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
