Sorry, but I find some of these negative reviews almost impossible to believe - it's like a completely different doctor is being described. Dr. Persaud not only saved my life years ago, but showed never-ending compassion toward myself and my incredibly scary, anxiety-ridden situation. I never felt one iota of judgment from her, was never, ever interrupted and always felt tremendous relief after a session...and I saw her very frequently for a handful of years because of how fragile a state I was in...so I am not posting this as someone who only saw her once or twice.

This doctor does not listen, interrupts, talks over you and comes off openly incredulous when you try to share things with her. She is in my opinion unprofessional. I was not led to understand my diagnosis, nor was I given any tips or hints on how to manage my condition. She is strictly for medication management only. If you want medication, this is your doctor. She'll medicate you to the gills and happily send you on your way to deal with your problems on your own.

I would not recommend this psychiatrist . Now I know why she was the only psychiatrist with availability. She was very rude and unprofessional. When I attempted to research the medication she prescribed , she would criticize me and tell me to "stop reading blogs." My child had severe side effects . Since she only works two days a week, she would take up to three days to respond to voicemails. When she finally would return calls, she was very cold and condescending . She would often laugh and brush off concerns that I had. Very disappointed in this provider.
