List of Temecula Valley Hospital's Reviews
I received good care here. The nurses were very nice.
The nursing staff and support teams were exceptional My sincere thanks to everyone!
Very friendly medical team. Well organized and efficient.
I had a procedure in the hospital last week. The staff in the operating room and in the waiting area were fantastic. Helpful, courteous and friendly. A super hospital atmosphere and very sanitary with the Covid 19 precautions.
In the worse moments I had the best experiencePersonnel treated me with the most of interestI have been in ER before and the service was completely different
Great, all the staff and medical staff were polite and helpful. If it's possible to have a smooth operation (doctor Larson) and all those who attended, then this is a good example!Thank you, James (patient) and Pat Craig
BEWARE OF HOSPITAL BILLING CALLING FOR MONEY!!!!!My mom was admitted to this hospital while she had COVID.The billing department called my dad while my mom was still in the hospital and they were asking for $3,000 for her hospital bills. My mom has insurance but they were asking my dad for the money through the phone! Very unprofessional! My dad, who was recovering from COVID, was unsure of what to do but the woman on the phone kept asking for 10% of the hospital bill, stating that my mom’s stay has already incurred $10,000+ in bills. When my dad asked what he should do, the lady said to give her his Visa card number so they can process the transaction over the phone. My dad is 65, not very tech-savvy and was trying to recover from COVID.This hospital obviously thought they could try and take advantage of my parents. You can tell they only care about money.Luckily, my mom was discharged several days later and cleared things up with her insurance company and called Temecula Valley for their money back. It was returned and my mom had to ask for a receipt for the original bill. This hospital just wants your money and will get it with unsavory billing practices.
I was involved in a motorcycle accident at 2:45pm Wednesday, resulting in a broken clavicle. I went to the ER at temecula valley hospital within an hour and there were only about 5-6 parties ahead of me. I did not have a mask on me and I asked the desk assistant for one to be safe. She told me “I didnt even notice that. Shows how worried I am about covid” mocking my wishes to protect myself and mostly others. Fortunately she gave me one. I was then placed in a semi enclosed booth at the end of the help desk. I had asked to be positioned where I could put my head down on the desk to allow my body to keep the shoulder in place. The wheel chair i was in was locked and i was placed out of reach of the desk, leaving me in pain and out of reach of anyone to assist me. After 10-15 minutes I was seen for x rays. These took a while as the tech was a student and learning(no hard feelings there, we all need to learn and he was very nice!) once these were taken I was sent back to the lobby where I waited several hours. Eventually a PA came to put a sling on me but due to pain I was unable to complete this. They recommended a take a Norco for pain to which I agreed. The process to get a pill took 45 minutes or so, the whole while, I was in severe pain. After another 45 minutes of waiting they attempted to put the sling on again where I was told I needed a CT scan. I asked why and was told “we dont know the extent of your injuries” I pointed out that the x rays showed only one fracture and that I had no pain in any other area. They argued with me several times and in one case I was told “its time to sell your motorcycle and pay for medical bills” mind you I had just totaled this bike. I explained that I would not need a ct scan because there was not sufficient evidence for needing it and that it appeared to be a cash grab while i was under the effect of the norco and in pain. They argued some more but I held firm. At this time the PA told me Id be needing surgery. I asked what her reasoning was and her response was “I dont know. You just may need it.” At no point did I speak with an actual doctor. We got the sling on and was told id be discharged shortly. About another 45 minutes went by before i was given discharge papers that supposedly held my x rays. The next day I went to see an orthopedic surgeon and found they had not given my x rays to me and when i called, i was transferred to numbers that went to voicemail or disconnected. This occurred on 3 occasions until I gave up and just had the surgeon reshoot them. When the surgeon and x ray tech saw the way the sling and bandages were applied they were shocked at the poor quality. The surgeon said I would definitely not need surgery as wellI found this visit to be woefully unprofessional, slow, unsafe, and ill informed. To be completely honest, Id rather have stayed in pain and driven to further to any other ER than this one. Taking covid seriously should be a big priority and when your staff mocks the safety protocol, there are serious issues. Taking 7 hours to intake, x ray, provide pain relief and sling should not take anywhere near that time given how slow the wait room was. Telling someone they need to sell things to pay for procedures that were not even necessary is alarming and indicative of financial instability as a facility. Staff that does not have a fully educated background also should not be playing doctor by telling patients their prognosis. Finally being disorganized about patient files is unacceptable and lazy.
I personally had an excellent experience. I needed 2 screws placed in my finger. Staff is great, doctor is great, and recovery is going well. Couldn't be more happy. Thank you!
They were very organized, which made the process easy and quick. They were professional and kind. In less than an hour I saw the ER Resident.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
