Worst Dr. and worst bedside manner I’ve ever encountered! He was not interested or my ongoing (2 years) issue. He actually said “I see 100’s of women like you” Well no wonder!!! He doesn’t help them so they have to keep coming back. He didn’t care about my past history or helping me. He yelled and was sarcastic A big NO thanks from me. Do better Dr. Perkin!!!

Very Professional. There was a mix up with my appt. but he made sure to see me. Looked up old records. Very accommodating. Very thorough. I'm very happy with him.

I've been seeing Dr. Perkins for about a year now. Love this doctor. He is attentive, does not waste time, more importantly does not rush you. He is thorough, friendly, professional and all around take every step to ensure resolution. Highly recommend him

I saw Dr Perkin first, almost four years ago. He diagnosed my cancerous bladder WAY early. After several treatments through the bladder suggested I would most likely need my bladder removed. I was taken back by that information! Fast forward and having Stanford Urology (world renown) perform that very surgery, I am back to Dr. Perkin with full faith in his skill and ability. Stanford is one of the best there is.... and so is Dr. Perkin.

I just moved to SLO from O C and needed to find a new Urologist and was so delighted to have my first visit with Dr. Perkins! He seems to really care about his patients and ask a lot of questions including to ask me if I have any questions to ask him! My last urologist had an awful bedside manner and didn’t follow up and overcharged the insurance and me in addition to copay even for a routine check up!

I had a TURP with excellent results. Good care and follow up. Off meds and going like i used to. 😊

I changed urologist a few months after my husband was found to have a cyst in his spermatic cord.. I choose Dr Perkins because of the lady who I spoke with on the phone. The office staff are very professional..My husband was in surgery within 4 days of seeing Dr Perkins and given the results.. he saved his life.Had we not switched doctors, my husband would not be here today..I think Hugh Perkins is a great doctor,who is very pro-active in saving lives :). I went into his office not knowing what to expect. After the initial consultation, I had no more reservations. I knew I was in good hands, literally. Dr. Perkin as well as his entire staff were professional and made the procedure less stressful. There was absolutely no pain involved as i knew what to expect from the initial consultation. The added bonus was being able to choose what type of music i wanted to listen to during the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Perkin for this procedure.

I've been seeing Dr. Perkin for four years, and he has treated me and my prostrate problem with the utmost care and professionalism. He knows his business and has helped me stay alive, which is what the point is. Very knowledgeable, up to date and caring. Like all doctors, now, he has to work within the limited time allowed per patient, but I look forward to those precious few minutes i have with him. My life is in his hands, and he has a firm grip on it. I am lucky and thankful that i drew his name out of the hat.
