cordial, good bedside manner, listens and is helpful and seems to know his stuff. Explains things in simple terms. would recommend if you have heart issues
Friendly, sufficient staff, no waiting, organized, treatment with care! Dr Wiechmann is the best cardiologist in this County!?????My husband and I are blessed to have a great Christian cardiologist caring for us! I recommend him to the max# Jan Cassara
I saw Dr Wiechmann for about 2 years beginning in 2011 after spending a couple of days at the hospital in Templeton. On my follow-up visits he never engaged me in conversation about what my goals were. He just kept coming up with additional diagnoses to add to my AFIL & CHF, and continued to add more meds to my regimen. Whenever I would try to engage him in a serious conversation, he would always give that "deer in the headlight look". He actually thought that I should take whatever he prescribed with no discussion of side-effects nor consideration that it was my body and not his. When I would complain about the side effects of one of his meds, he would just say, "Go see your primary". Hey, it was his meds causing the problem, not some other doctor. Eventually, for my own survival I had to stop taking all of his prescriptions and stop going to his office. It is now 7 years later and my CHF is gone (which I was told would never be gone), and who knows what happened to all those other diagnoses. I still have AFIB, but I am surviving quite well by the grace of God, without the services of a cardiologist. So many doctors fail to understand that they are not gods, instead they are a resource.
This is the doctor you want to find! Really, This is the guy. Nice, friendly, ask you questions and really listens. Thinks deeply about what was said and responds with compassion. If you need a Heart doctor, this is the man to see!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
