Extremely rude. Did no actual assessment of my child. My son is extremely ill with COVID and she didn't ask a single question about him. How long he was sick? Symptoms? Testing? Nothing. She was just annoyed about being paged on a Saturday and said I should go to the ER if I want help. Unbelievable!!!

We love Dr Battle

Dr. Battle is great! Great diagnosis, knows her stuff!

We loved the service got with Dr Battles. She takes her time to explain everything to us and addressed any concern we had. I couldn't have asked for a better PD for my child.

Dr. Battles listened respectfully to my daughter's complaint, holistically assessed her condition, thought broadly about possible diagnoses, and prescribed the relevant tests. She was intelligent in her approach and personable. I couldn't ask for more in a doctor.

Tamara Battle This is a Dr that accepts government funded insurance, but will not prescribe medication for her patients that are covered by their insurance. Having seen her, knowing that our son was teething and having a very difficult time with the pain, she refuses to prescribe Tylenol. Initially, she said it wasn't medically necessary. Upon asking her how prescribing Tylenol for a teething baby isn't medically necessary, her response is: you can buy it over the counter. I ask anyone reading this, what does that have to do with it being medically necessary? I asked her, and what if we can't afford to buy it over the counter? We're on low income state funded insurance because we can't afford it. We're barely making it financially, and we know our insurance pays for the medication..because we are low income. She expects us to make an ER visit to get his medication? She said under no circumstance will she write a prescription for the medication, because it's over the counter. I told her our baby sitter wants a solution like we got from the ER, to remove any possibility of forgetting to shake it before dispensing..is that not a good reason? They also want a Dr label to ensure that they are correctly dosing him, as per doctor's orders..which makes sense. With all of the recent findings of Tylenol overdosing going on in America, is she not wanting to be liable for what she's telling us to give our son? That's the only logical reason that I can come up with, for why this Dr refuses to accommodate us in any way shape or form. No other suggestion, recommendation, or alternative medicine that she would prescribe for him to help him. What am I to assume, that if he needed another medicine that wasn't covered by his insurance, that she would just tell us to pay out of pocket? Tell us to go buy better insurance? This "doctor" is definitely not fulfilling her hippocratic oath, because she operates in anything but an ethical manner. If you want to roll the dice that this "doctor" will work in your child's best interests, I wish you good luck..but I don't recommend it. We played, and we lost. Her last words, were that we're free to find a new Dr. How pleasant. Unbelievably horrible experience.

Dr. Battle is the pediatrician for my two kids and is a baby whisperer. I really appreciate how she is very calm and collected, takes time to answer all my questions, and is also a parent of two young kids.

Dr. Battle has been my daughter's pediatrician for 9 years. She has always been upfront with her care. She is genuinely concerned about the welfare of my daughter and I appreciate all that she has done for her.

Her bedside manner is incredible and I trust her whole heartedly with our son. He is always so excited to see her and I know she has only the best interest and well being for him. We love her!
