I had to have surgery for my nose. UCLA thousand okas have a day surgery center that I was going to have it done at. Going back I meet the pre-op nurse and then the OR Nurses and then I had to meet the Anesthetist. I was super nervous and scared I had a bad experience with an anesthetic before. Dr. Coleman was amazing she came in sat down and talked to me and ask me what I was nervous about. She told me what would happen and when it would. I was still a little nervous but it was going to be ok. I got on the table and they get me ready to have surgery. I was getting more worried and she gets my Dr. to come back and help me keep calm. I remember the nurse was there and DR. Coleman asked me what my favorite smell was and it was watermelon. The mask was scary but she had made it smell good. I help my doctor's hand and Dr, Colmen talked to me and I fell asleep. I had a great surgery with no issues. In Recovery I was not waking up when I was supposed to be. They normally have people awake in like 30 mins it was like an hour so they got Dr, Coleman and she got me to wake up and get moving. I was home later and was resting well. Dr. Coleman was amazing and the best sleep doctor ever!!!!! If I have to have to go under again I want Dr, Coleman.
