Dr. Trumler was my high functioning autistic sons’ Doctor and Surgeon for a number of years at Wilmer Eye at John’s Hopkins Hospital in Maryland. He has congenital esotropia with a consistent nystagmus gaze. He operated on him 3 times until she moved to California. His condition is one that will require him to have multiple surgeries, unfortunately. She took her time with him, her bedside manner was AMAZING. His first surgery was at 5 months and to date 4 eye muscle surgeries and I plastic surgery for retracted eyelids. My son and I love her so much and we miss her terribly. I HIGHLY recommend her. She’s the best and Greatest of All Times.
This is a terrible office. After they see you and a doctor retires, your file is put in storage and after many, many requests, they delay, delay, delay and never send the file to the next ophthalmologist. In addition, I am very sorry I went to Lynn Eye Medical Center for an eye operation as I should’ve gone to a much better place, UCLA. If you can get into UCLA do so. They are a much better facility, much more organized, and their staff is responsible, not like Lynn Eye Medical Center that does not send medical records after numerous requests. Now I’m told me it will be one month before my new ophthalmologist gets my records. My first request was months ago. They kept saying they did not receive the fax, but the fax from my new ophthalmologist went through 34 times. Finally I spoke to an agent (name withheld to protect her) who said it would be two weeks before I would get my medical records sent to the new ophthalmologist. I had an appointment tomorrow that I had to cancel because the ophthalmologist said that Lynn Eye Medical Center said it will take a month before my records will be sent to the new ophthalmologist. That is outrageous and unprofessional. Do not do business with this office
I have been a patient of Dr. Butera for over 30 years. Always had good service- Not anymore. I started getting an automated reminder calls to make an appointment about 6 to 7 months ago. I call to make an appointment, get put on hold and then told they need to call me back to make the appointment. Two weeks go by no return call. I call same thing happens. Two weeks more get an automated call to make an appointment. This goes on for 4 months. September when I call they ask to call me back to make the appointment- I tell them NO- We are going to make it NOW- You never call back. What is the next appointment I can get. Amira tells me the soonest I can get is Dec 24 at 4 PM. I ask really no other appointments before that? No other appointments available. Really you are scheduling for Christmas eve at 4 PM. I have been trying to get an appointment for 4 months now and the best you can do is Dec 24. I actually heard her giggle before saying that is the best. I set the appointment. I get a call from Amira on Monday Dec 10 – left on my voice mail they are cancelling my appointment and to call and reschedule. I call Amair Tuesday Dec 11 , She wants to schedule me for mid January! Are you F***ing kidding me this is not acceptable one bit. 6 to 7 months to get an appointment. NO YOU SCHDUEL ME NOW FOR THIS YEAR . She says she has to talk to Dr. Butera and that she or Dr. Butera would call me back by the end of the day. Here we are Dec 14 and no return call. Don’t waste your time with Lynn eye medical – go somewhere else!
Knowledgable and caring pediatric ophthalmologist
She performed excellent work on my 3 yr old daughter with her strabismus. Highly receommened her
After trying to watch the eclipse without any protective eye glasses for a few minutes, I felt eye pain. I felt my vision has degraded. I called Lynn Eye Medical this morning. I told the receptionist that I will be leaving for Chicago tomorrow. I need to see an ophthalmologist. The receptionist was able to get an appointment within 1 hour. I really appreciate your helpfulness and understanding. They did a very thorough examination of my eyes including peripheral vision, retina and vision. I really appreciate them squeezing me in . There were no openings today , their office was very busy but they went of their way to give me an urgent appointment. Thanks to Dr. Hymas and his staff for their help.
Superb and excellent cataract surgery by Dr. Hymas. He leads the way and is most kind, skilled and efficient. I do not review the staff as not key to my requirements.
My daughter has been going here since she was 5 and the office staff has always been professional and very kind. I like the fact they have a waiting room for kids were she can watch kid movies. Dr. Copper is great and I would highly recommend this medical group.
Dr. Matzkin is a hero.
I have taken both my children to Lynn Eye and found that their staff as well as the doctors are awesome. Every time I go everyone is nice and helpful and Dr. Cooper always takes the time to answer all my questions.. After sitting in the waiting and listening to some of the rude patients they get at their office is unreal.. Patients blame the girls at the front desk when THEY THEMSELVES as patients don't bring their insurance cards in with them.. Seriously people do you go to the grocery with no credit card?? Dr. Cooper and his staff are good people.. I hope that people remember there are 2 sides to every story!! Keep up the good work Lynn Eye!! I will keep talking highly about you guys and my good expriences there!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
