Hi, I'm Ray P. I had Pterygium for years, I saw several doctors, but they didn't help me, they just made me feel uncomfortable. I found Doctor Michael from the first moment I liked the way he treated me and the trust he gave me.I highly recommend Dr. Michael and his staff, they are truly professional. Dr. Michel removed a pterigium from my left eye. I was understandably concerned about possible negative impacts on my vision from the surgery, but the operation was a complete success and the irritation that had been increasing for several months is gone. Also, the pterigium had begun to deform my cornea, which was affecting my vision in that eye, and that has been reversed. From my first exam to my final exam, Dr. Michel provided outstanding service as did all of his staff. They were incredibly efficient and welcoming from the beginning and answered all of my questions. Dr. Michel performed the operation, as well as the follow-up treatments that were needed to ensure my eye healed completely, with skill and assurance. He has a calm professional demeanor that I found extremely reassuring. I am completely satisfied with the results of Dr. Michel's treatment and I recommend him without any reservations whatsoever for this type of eye surgery.

Dr. Michel was my eye doctor for over a decade. I had myopia since I was about 9 years old & started going to Dr. Michel around age 12 when I wanted to switch from glasses to contacts. He has the best patient care I've ever experienced from a doctor. He's very honest, patient, professional, caring, & makes you feel at ease during appointments/procedures. He listens to his patients & always takes the time to answer questions & educates his patients about their condition or procedures. I was finally ready to undergo Lasik in July of 2021, & the procedure was practically a breeze! The healing was easy as well. The Lasik corrected my astigmatism & pretty high myopia perfectly. I can't believe I didn't do this surgery sooner! My vision is better than 20/20 now, my night vision is also fantastic & I have not experienced any permanent haziness or doubling. I also had a chalazion in 2016 that was removed amazingly, no scar. Dr. Michel is definitely one of the best ophthalmologists in the world! Not only are his medical & surgical skills superb, but so is his bedside manner! My eyes are perfect now thanks to him. I would 100% recommend him to anyone & everyone.

Dr. Michel is a miracle worker! I had suffered from pterygium in both eyes for many years, with the resultant constant eye irritation. The pterygium in my right eye had grown to such an extent, that it was affecting my vision. My surgery was complicated in the pterygium removal by having had Lasik surgery many years before. Dr. Michel studied the situation carefully and was very clear on all the steps he would take to safely remove the growths in both eyes. The results were exceptional! Vision in my right eye improved dramatically after the surgery and cosmetically I am thrilled to have white around my eyes again--no red! Dr. Michel and his office staff are diligent on follow up exams...there has been no regrowth.

Dr. Michel was extremely thorough and took lots of time explaining to me in detail why I was experiencing eye pain and redness. His office basically fit me in during their lunch hour given that my symptoms could have potentially caused serious damage had I waited to be seen. Jasmine, made sure to communicate my concerns and was super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Michel.

I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Franz Michel! I was searching for the right doctor to perform pterygium removal surgery in my left eye and after my consultation appointment with him I knew he was the right doctor for the job! He's as professional as it gets and truly is the best of the best when it comes to pterygium removal. I'm writing this review 6 months after my surgery and my eye looks better than i could have ever imagined! Not only is Dr. Franz Michel a total professional, He's also an incredibly kind and cool guy! He really cares about his work and would send personal texts checking in on my progress while healing. My eye was completely healed at about 2 months after but it has continued to just get better and better each month. Dr. Michel is the absolute best at what he does! He removed a Pterygium from eye, which was complicated due to a prior Lasik surgery.
