Not enough staff to take care of patients.
Another disturbing experience. I would’ve been better off staying at home. You did nothing to help me and you gave the wrong diagnosis. I broke my hand and my orthopedic surgeon I saw a week later read your report which said my foot was injured. Saw a patient seizure and no one in the room seemed to care for a good minute except for the patients that were there for emergency reasonsI see this place going down hard and fast They are now hiring nurse practitioners instead of a real doctor because this saves them money
Do not go to Los Robles Regional Medical Center. Lack of good care causes you to be in the hospital longer. Horrible experience.
Your staff was so helpful. Went beyond to help me with my appointment. So friendly. Thank you for those special women who work for you 😁😇Sharon
Dr. Jim Watson saved my finger When other docs would have gone straight to amputation Dr. Watson knew that I desperately wanted to keep my finger and fought for me. I had a serious hand injury and he walked me through my recovery every step of the way. I was at LRMC for 10 nights and he made his rounds 23 times daily. Dr. Jim Watson is an extraordinary hand surgeonplastic surgeon. I’m so grateful
Horrible experience apart from the ER. Best ER doctor we’ve ever encountered. Dr Ravens. If only the rest of the care in this hospital was led by his professional demeanor compassion and passion. A true gem of a doctor. Now for the rest of the stay after patient admitted and stayed for over a week before being transferred to another hospital…Unprofessional and inexperienced resident doctors . Avoid this hospital at all costs if you care about your life or loved ones. We had to stay with family member for 68 hours per day when visiting just to make sure he was safe.Almost lost our family member due to negligence of care. Had we not been there so much I fear what would have happened. Too many incidents to state here but let’s just say if you have a loves one here plan on visiting them throughout the day and night .Constant redirecting of nurses and doctors. Most hospitals are short staffed but to not have ANY caregiversCNA’s in the eve is absurd. Asking daughter to help nurse change fathers diaper 🤦🏻♀️. Cannot make this stuff up.Good luck trying to find anyone at night. The halls and nurses station are vacant . Like a ghost townCase management on defense all the time andnot helpful nor friendly. Horrible patient experience. Extremely condescending .Had to call Adult Protective Services who reached out to the CA Department of Health . They came out and investigated.Feces on handrail of bed for days Withholding medication that Parkinson’s patient needed which caused patient to shut down . In the end after kicking and screaming so to speak we were able to transfer patient to a proper hospital where his needs were met at last. This is after a week of HELL. Worst resident doctors ever. Terrible bedside manner and immature. Having to guide them . Ridiculous. No attention to detail whatsoever. This isn’t the first awful experience we have had at this hospital . Patient only brought here because it was an emergency 911 situationUnless 911 situation and cannot drive patient to hospital yourself. Pay for a private ambulance and take patient to a larger and more reputable hospital.
Thousand Oaks Surgery Hospital is an outstanding medical facility.
I really can not say enough about this place. The nurses the Doctors were all perfect. My best experience at a hospital ever Thank you guys so much
The ER was a nightmare. I was there for 36 hours before I was moved upstairs to the cardiac unit. I had one particular male nurse that was very rude. When my doctor was calling me he came over and bawled me out while I was on the phone. For asking if I was going to get a bed. He said you should appreciate even being in here theres people out there waiting to get into the ER the ER that have been in the waiting room for 24 hours. When I was moved upstairs it was a whole different experience. The nurses couldnt be nicer and the room was beautiful. The food could be a little better but they tried really hard to accommodate my special diet..
Everything was great at TOSH accept the RN stated she was unable to locate a home health company for me upon discharge on a Wednesday. I didn’t hear back from her until the following Monday stating she was still looking for a home health company This has interfered with my recovery and I am now being told they may have to do a manipulation on my knee which does not sound like fun. I may be seeing you again TOSH if this is the case Not a happy camper.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
