It took me a long time to find Dr. Deitel and even though I live in Los Angeles now, I still drive out to Oxnard to see him. I'm writing this review because it really dawned on me just now how much my life has changed. I'm doing laundry. Before I saw Dr. Deitel that was not an option. Standing in front of my sink to do dishes was not an option. I would lay in bed and wait until I couldn't hold it anymore because it was so painful to get up and go to the bathroom. I have a normal life now. And I am so grateful to have my life back. Thank you Dr. Deitel.

Dr. Deitel is very personable and thorough. I have seen him 3 times for sciatica issues and he has treated me with PT and I will now have an epidural. He has a friendly personality and is easy to talk to and is a good listener.

Dr. Deitel was extremely friendly and accommodating. His bedside manner was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. I would definitely recommend him to anybody that has any kind of back pain or back issues.

I wish I had read reviews before going to see Dr. Deitel. After having spine surgery in 2017 by a competent Orthopedic surgeon, my insurance changed. I started have thoracic spine pain that was getting more severe, and decided it was time to find a doctor in my network to investigate the cause. Unfortunately I ended up at Ventura Orthopedic seeing Dr. Deitel. I have never felt less listened to by a doctor in my life. He insisted I have a thoracic spine X-ray before even seeing me, and then after hearing who did my cervical spine surgery sent me back to get an X-ray of my neck so he could "see the other doctor's work". He literally talked about himself the entire time I was with him, and when I tried to talk about how I felt he would cut me off. The most ridiculous thing was the rushed 2 minute exam that he did before giving me a PT order and telling me to call him if I didn't feel better in a month. I was in that office from 9am to 11:30am for what felt like absolutely nothing an
