List of Kiumars Arfai's Reviews
Dr. Arfai is very understanding and compassionate. He works with my husband and I on our chronic pain issues. He doesn't judge; he simply wants to make you feel better; more like "yourself." I hope to continue to see him as long as my pain stays. I would recommend him to anyone; although I'm not too fond of his PA Ben. Ben seems to be quick to judge, and if you ask to see Dr. Arfai, he seems to have a problem with it. Don't know why....I always try to make sure in future appointments to actually talk to the doctor and not Ben.
Very favorable. I have been a patient of Dr. Arfai for many years, and have always found him to be truthful if not blunt, but kind and understanding. He agrees with the old philosophy of "Do whatever needs to be done to help a patient's pain," although he has been forced by the CDC ruling and its cruel and inhuman enforcement to cut back on prescribing safe medications which relieve chronic pain. In this he is unfortunately helpless, until we chronic pain patients revolt against government policy.
I never post reviews. Ive taken a while to post this one as I was upset upon mistreatment and wanted to write a level headed review. This doctor has his clinic set up like a well oiled money making machine. If you need a pain injection he has you travel to another site where billing is out of network so you have to pay out of pocket for treatment....when he could easily apply treatment in his normal offices that work with insurance companies. I did not see or ever meet this doctor. I went in for pain surrounding stage IV endometriosis....the doctor sent his nurse practitioner in to see me, only. I never met him. He proceeded to argue with me through his nurse practitioner all while remaining in his office and never introducing himself to me. He refused to actually help me, I was gaslit by him via his NP and much doubt in my illness was expressed even though I've fought this disease spectacularly for 20 years. Do not go to this doctor. Especially if you are a woman. If I could give less than a star I would.
I am a retired registered nurse with chronic low back pain for several decades. I made no progress and suffered for years with unrelenting back, neck and hip problems, until I met Dr Arfai. I have recommended him repeatedly. He is a very kind and compassionate man. He LISTENS and he REMEMBERS what you say to him. I enjoy his subtle sense of humor. My care has required the use of epidurals and nerve blocks, RF Ablation and eventually I made it through the insurance nightmare to receive a Boston Scientific Spinal Cord Stimulator. That decision changed my life dramatically, for the better. That technology had never even been mentioned as a possible therapy for me. Dr Arfai felt that I was a good candidate for such technology. He was right on target. He is 5-STAR GOOD.
THIS OFFICE DOESNT EXIST AT THIS ADDRESS. RUDE STAFF WILL LIE TO YOU WHEN YOU SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT. GO SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR.
After waiting an hour and a half with rude staff, the doctor was very impersonal, rushed interview, doctor said he was in a hurry. Told me he didn't know me, meaning wouldn't take my word for what I was saying. Then patted my back condescendingly on the way out. Bathroom dirty. Awful experience.
Very professional and helpful
He is very rude and don’t care about us .i never recommend him to any one.
Dr. Arfai seemed like he might be a good a doctor but between being unable to actually speak to someone in the office, get a message to the doctor or try and get any issues taken care of was impossible. The girls in the front were so confused and didn't communicate with each other that it didn't allow me to continue to see Dr. Arfai. Sadly, because of his neglectful front office, he pays for it.
I have seen Dr Arfai since almost he start at Mission Hills and now I have to make a decision to keep him or keep my personal doctor he has terminated his contract with Health care Parners and I'm so sad I saw this coming that's how good of a doctor he is now I need to find a pain management and it is hard most of the doctors dont care. I need your help Doctor Arfai to make a decision the stuff didn't tell me what to do in this case Dr Arfai is now like a family to me if you see this call me. Tx

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
