MIchael Thomas Vercillo's Online Review Report Card

Dr Vercillo is a great surgeon. I had a knee replacement, but he didn't suggest surgery until it was really necessary. He put up with me for a long time until I was ready. He explained everything in terms I understood. Took time with me. He is kind and has an incredible bedside manner. He is a " mensch."His office staff are great in handling all issues before and after surgery. I want to name them all:Diana, Ciara, Tina, Claudia, Marielle, ShaneThese people handle a boat load of patients everyday. Thank you. Rhory

I believe that Dr Vercillo has no business doing partial knee replacements. Mine had to be revised after 2 painful years.

Dr. Vercillo gave me a total shoulder replacement 8 years ago. I loved it. Great job even though I abused it while being a horse trainer. I eventually had a fall and shattered that shoulder. My bad. Eventually I started having a lot a pain in that shoulder. He checked it and said it was fine. This went on for months. At one point I needed a cervical surgery. I went to a top doctor at Cedars-Sinai. He was examining my neck when he said I had a bad shoulder and to check it out before my cervical surgery. He sent me to a doctor that said I needed a reverse shoulder replacement. What ! So he sent me to the doctor that works on the Dodgers at Cedars-Sinai. He said my shoulder was in very bad shape so now I have to have a huge surgery. I’ve been in enormous pain for months. My question is, why didn’t he want to admit it was wrecked. ?

Dr Vercillo is not only a talented and confident surgeon, but he has incredible bedside manner and cares above and beyond for his patients. He doesn't rush and is available in a busy office. I wish all doctors were like him. I wish he did all body parts. Well he certainly has " heart". His office staff are incredible as well. Happy to write this review, pain pills and all. Only kidding!

A fantastic, personable surgeon who treated me for two osteoporosis fractures that were very painful and scary for me. He is an amazing physician with a terrific bedside manner. So kind and caring!

Doctor Verscillo is the best orthopedic doctor in Ventura County.

I searched for a few years for the best knee surgeon. I interviewed the best in all of Los Angeles. I found the best one ...Dr.Michael Vercillo. His reputation is the best. And on top of that he is calm, great bedside manner, and a real "mensch." He can have both my knees....Rhory

For over 10 years Dr Vercillo was treating my husband for the knee problem, Numerous times he suggested a surgery , but my husband wasn’t ready, it came to the point that his ability to walk and function normally was very limited, injection treatments didn’t work for long...so he finally agreed for the surgery. Dr work was a beyond perfection, my husband start walking with a cane one week after a total right knee replacement surgery, was ready to drive in 2 months (which I never allowed) , now 3 month past he’s driving and walking without cane. Dr Vercillo is an excellent surgeon, extremely knowledgeable and very professional! I highly recommend him to anyone who’s planning to have any procedure.

I wish I could give ten stars!!!! I have been a patient of Dr. Vercillo for 7 years. From the first time meeting him I knew that I was in good hands. I had have a crazy 48 hours and I was so over seeing doctors. I had given up and was just done with the pain and what was going to have to happen. After that first appointment I knew that I was going to be well taken care of. Fast forward to 2021 with a pandemic still here. I had taken a fall after a workout and got a little bruised but thought nothing else of it till, I heard a sound. Called the office and they had an appointment that was the same day. Filling out the paper work was fun as I was right handed and the the wrist that hurt, lets just say it was a preschooler writing. Back in our room Dr. V came in and and looked at it he also had a x-ray done and then it was time for the cast. Some places have the nurse apply them well here Dr. V did mine, I was alittle nervous but he made sure I was safe. Hot pink cast with my thumb safe and sound as well. I was ready to go face the world with one and a half hand. I can say that my wrist already feels way better and I know that I will be able to get back to my normal super soon. Thank You Dr. V for always taking great care of me. My the odds be ever in your favor. Inside joke from surgery and we alway wear pink that's a one more.
