I had a painful hammertoe for some time and was afraid to have surgery because I thought recovery would be too long. I finally had the surgery because I trusted Dr. Zapf. The surgery was perfect and the recovery was fast. I was dancing on Mother's Day. Dr. Zapf is an excellent doctor.

Wow, Dr. Zapf and staff absolutely impressed me! I was so glad to get referred to them to treat my son. We checked in quickly and got seen quickly. Everyone was so nice and I really felt they cared. Dr. Zapf was sweet, funny and it honestly felt like a family member treating my son. Both my son and I felt very comfortable with taking care of the in grown toe nail problem immediately. I was amazed how fast Dr. Zapf worked. I strongly recommend this office and will continue to share my experience with friends 😊

I've been a patient of Dr Zapf since 1990 and he is the best. Not only a great doctor, but the nicest man.

I've been to hundreds of doctors, and Dr Z is the kindest, most succinct MD I've ever visited. He and his assistant, Jackie, saw me on time, and addressed every single issue that I had, in a warm and friendly way. I wish every physician in the world was as amazingly awesome as Dr. Zapf!

I have been a patient of Dr Zapf for many years. Fortunately, I don't need to see him very often. However I recently had a bone spur on my pinky toe that was extremely painful and has been bothering me for years! I did not want to have a long surgical procedure or recovery, so I just lived with the pain. I decided I had had enough! Doctor Zapf told me he could do the procedure in his office as an outpatient, and it would be a quick procedure. I said yes! He did the entire procedure from start to finish in about 15 minutes. The procedure was totally painless and the recovery was virtually immediate, with zero complications! His knowledge, expertise and experience are amazing, and he's also a super nice person!

Such a pleasure to entrust my care with Dr. Zapf. He quickly assessed my foot problem (Morton’s Neuroma) and explained options to deal with it. We decided to postpone surgery through cortisone shots to get me through the ski season. When I had surgery to remove the nerve, he and his staff efficiently and expertly took care of the problem. He has always been available for questions and explained the process in terms I can understand. No more pain and I can ski pain-free again!

I had put off having surgery for my bunions for years and years and finally it got so bad that I also had a very painful hammertoe so I knew it was time to bite the bullet! I am so glad I chose Dr. Zapf and I highly recommend him to anyone with any foot issue!!! He explained everything so clearly and the staff were great as well!The surgery was a week ago and I have had NO pain! I felt so good that I did too much yesterday and had to take it easy today, still no pain I was just tired! I never would have waited so long if I had known and I already have told everyone I have talked to including strangers in the store about Michael Zapf!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!

Dr. Zapf and Dr. Benson performed a Left Foot Base Wedge Osteotomy and a McBride Bunionectomy on my daughter. The surgery failed leaving her with a severe malunion of the 1st metatarsal and extensive bone loss. She underwent 2 complex reconstructive surges at Cedars-Sinai to repair the damage done . These doctors should never be allowed to perform surgery. Bone grafting/fusion and a large plate held her mutilated foot together

Dr. Zapf is great. He designed orthotics for me that were the opposite of what I thought would work for my unusual foot problem... but they worked! He also did a painless and effective job of some minor surgeries on my feet. I found him to be very resourceful with unusual problems, and patient and kind. His years of experience put him above (in problem-solving abilities) a couple of other local podiatrists I had gone to.
