Always kind and considerate, listens and makes decisions with patient. I feel more comfortable that my problem will be treated and I will improve.

I had rotator cuff surgery by Dr.Durand. He made me feel safe & confident. I had the surgery at age 71, did lots of PT and have full range of motion with my arm. If you are in pain and suffering get the surgery, it is not an easy recovery but so worth it.

My Family and I are immensely grateful and blessed to have come across Dr. Durand. His bedside manner with patients and families is so warm and respectable. My mother had emergency ankle surgery recently and she cannot stop raving about him and how respected and loved he is at Los Robles Medical Center. Thank you Dr. Durand we cannot wait for the continued care and guidance during my mom's recovery.

Could not be happier. 15 years after my ACL repair, my knee is still doing fantastic. :KOW: I have so many friends that have had this surgery with so many complications and the main difference is, I had Dr. Durand and they didn't. Also a super nice guy and genuinely caring physician.

I came into the ER with my ankle completely shattered and dislocated, and Dr. Durand took amazing care of me with minimal pain and a great bedside manner from the start. I’m now on the path for a complete recovery, and several other surgeons (from when I had to see someone when I was out-of-state) complimented Dr. Durand’s minimalist and clean surgery technique. I went to Los Robles Hospital because I had crashed on my mountain bike. Dr. Durand met with me right after I saw the emergency room doctor. suggested that surgery would be needed after getting a CAT scan. From the beginning to the end Dr. Durand was amazing and really helped keep my mind at ease. Thank you

Los Robles Hospital recommended Dr Durand for a severe case of Calcific Tendinitis I'm experiencing. I went today and was extremely pleased. The office was clean and efficient and Dr Durand himself was charming, friendly, funny, obviously extremely smart and explained everything in very simple and easy to understand terms. You feel like he's an old friend the minute you begin a conversation. I'm delighted to have met him and will keep him as my Orthopedist. Unfortunately, he only specializes in Sports surgery...so Shoulders and knees etc... although he could still treat other areas, he suggested if it came to surgery, he would refer to a specialist in that particular area of expertise. But my wife and I enjoyed him and had a good laugh. He seems the consummate Professional!

I have worked for physicians for 30 years and Dr. Durand is one of the most caring doctors I have ever been to. He explained the problem and solutions regarding my knee. I didn't even feel the injection he gave me. His follow up is so complete and he answered all my questions and invited me to call anytime I have a concern or need to see him.
