Richard Hodnett's Online Review Report Card

Just had my surgery this morning. My second and a revision on a surgery from four years ago (NOT by him.) He was able to immediately see all the issues with my last augmentation. He asked why I wanted the “bigger” size i have and when I told him; he reassured me he could give me the exact look I wanted. His staff is incredible. So nice and easy to work with. As someone who flew into the country during COVID for this procedure, it was a bit more complicated to work out the details but they worked so hard for me to have a great experience. The bed is heated and comfortable, the nurses are fun and such a delight to be around. Absolutely recommend!

3 1/2 months after my breast lift/aug and tummy tuck surgery and I can't believe how amazing I look and feel. Dr. Hodnett is professional and honest. Both him and Jeanette made sure I understood all of the after care. I can't emphasize how important it is to follow the doctor's orders because that is also part of the success of the surgery. Tracy, Jeanette and Dr.Hodnett are such a great team. I am so pleased that after months of researching I decided on this center. The surgical team was great. They made me feel comfortable and I love the fact that the surgical center is at the same location. I would definitely recommend BHP! Will be back next year!

Terrible bedside manners. Dr. Hodnett is more concerned with quantity of procedures and not quality. He does not explain things and gets upset and answers in a demeaning tone if you have any questions or concerns during your postcare visits. Take your business to another surgeon who actually cares about educating and listening to their clients!

If you have a concern he will answer an angry, belittling manner. I paid a lot of money for my cosmetic surgery and I was offended that he started yelling at me because he said that I upset him. I am en educated woman, and I know that no customer should feel demeaned in such a way. Pay for another plastic surgeon who actually listens to your needs. Dr. Hodnett is all about quantity and not quality of services. Take your business elsewhere!

Dr. Hodnett is all about quantity and not quality. He does not listen to your needs and concerns. He responds in an angry tone and seems to have terrible bedside manners. It seems that he is more concerned in making business than actually educating the patient in regards to their procedures. Please take your business to another surgeon!

To be honest I got a tummy tuck right when my friend received hers. Unfortunately I did not do my research and went to a doctor who claimed to be a plastic surgeon messed up my whole stomach and now I look deformed. My friend went to Dr. Hodnett and she looks gorgeous! We had our surgery about the same time and she was 3months out and her results were fabulous. I decided to meet him and see if he can help me, but he was honest and told me he could not help me. I was sad but happy at the same time because he was honest with me and informed me he did not want my money. The staff was extremely kind and informative. Too bad I did not get my surgery with him because my friend continues to look better!

Over all great experience. Silvia, Patty, Maryah and the rest of the staff were amazing. I got a Rhynoplasty. My nose was crooked to the left, I had a deviated septum, and had a hump on the top of my nose. Dr. Hodnett did an amazing job. He was very upfront with me at the consultation. He did not sugar coat anything. The day of my surgery he explained everything that he was going to do and what to expect post op. I am in love with my new nose and I would recommend Gold MEd Surgery Center in Encino,CA to everyone!!!!

I would like to start off by saying that I absolutely love my results. I could not have found a better Doctor to have performed my surgery. Anyone who has undergone an invasive surgery knows exactly how stressful the entire process can be; finding the right Doctor, the terrifying thought of going under, and what the results will look like post surgery. Not to mention the price. Let me reassure you that this entire experience, from beginning to end, was pleasantly stress-free thanks to the Dr. Hodnett and his wonderful staff. They are simply, the best at what they do.Furthermore, Dr. Hodnetts many years of experience allows him to perform exceptional work. There is no comparison when comparing others that I know who had the same Gynecomastia procedure that was performed. In terms of my results, Dr. Hodnett did a phenomenal job at sculpting all the right areas and I could not be happier. I would highly recommend him when considering yourself for cosmetic surgery.
