List of Roee E Rubinstein's Reviews
Dr. Rubinstein surgically repaired a broken metacarpal in my hand. He did a great job. It healed nicely. 👍🏻👍🏻
I want to say that my experience at Dr. Rubenstein's office was one of the most pleasant ones I have had at a Doctor's office. The staff was very warm and welcoming. I was apprehensive about going to this appointment because I knew I would probably require an injection or two and Dr. Rubenstein's bedside manner was exceptional. He made me feel comfortable and even made me laugh. I would highly recommend him. Thank you,Nora A Heisch
Recently I was sent to see Dr. Rubenstein for a deep cut on my nose. I spoke with Ruby to make the appointment. She was so sweet and accommodating. When arriving at the office I met with Dr. Rubenstein. He was such a professional with a good sense of humor. Instead of rushing into any kind of surgical treatment, he took another route. I'm doing so much better. I would recommend Dr. Rubenstein to anyone needing to see a plastic surgeon.
Dr. Rubinstein is kind and professional and took great care of me.
I feel terrible that it never occurred to me to write a review on Dr. Rubinstein! I'm writing it now because I have to make an appointment after a few years of not needing his expertise. He treated the arthritis in both my thumbs so well that I haven't had to return for several years. Alas, all good things must end some day. I will be calling his office again, knowing that this time he may not be able to put of the inevitable surgery he warned me about. At least I know I'll have the very best surgeon. I have so much confidence in Dr. Rubinstein that I will do whatever he feels necessary alleviate my constant pain. I will not seek a second opinion. Even if you Love the hand surgeon you see now, don't pass up the opportunity to have the best. I am not alone in this viewpoint. Peggi Siegel
Dr Rubinstein is an amazing doctor , he is extremely caring , honest, very talented and creative. I had 4 bumps on my hand that was almost impossible to remove without leaving scars. He creatively removed all of them with almost no scars. When I need to do any cosmetic surgery in future he is my #1 choice. I am just so grateful that I have found him. I do highly recommend him and the staff are also very nice.

Short version: If there was an option for ten stars, he would get ten. Dr. Rubinstein is both a top notch surgeon and a top notch human being.Long Version: I am a cancer survivor of four years now and had gone through the process of reconstruction after my bilateral mastectomy. One year after having my implants put in, I began developing all sorts of unexplained issues, so decided to take the implants out and "go flat". I just wanted to feel better and be comfortable again. Quality of life became my focus instead of hanging on to my figure I had pre-cancer. When I went back to my original surgeon at Kaiser and told her what I wanted, she did what many plastic surgeons do to women who want to remove their implants: she shamed me for wanting them out - to the extent that she said, "If you really want to go the Scorched Earth method, I will do it, but you are going to not look good at all and your clothes will fit funny. Just call a week in advance if you want to cancel the surgery." Woweeee did that shaming set me back psychologically, it was like a cancer diagnosis all over again. She even told me I am the "only one" who has ever had problems with implants, and it was all in my head. I went to Google to see if I really was the only woman who was having issues with her implants. It turns out I found THOUSANDS of women. I spent the next two years quietly watching women in a FaceBook group who shared my same story, and subsequently found Dr. Rubinstein through them.Prior to making my decision to have him be my surgeon, I had many consults with a variety of recommended surgeons over those two years. What caused me to ultimately choose Dr. Rubenstein was his ability to make me feel human and like i am a part of the process. He was communicating in a manner I knew I was being listened to. Plus, I could tell he is a total perfectionist. He wanted to get it right on the first go. He had both aspects I was looking for in a surgeon. Surgery went longer than expected. When I asked why, it turns out that he was determined to get what I wanted on the first try. Sometimes, surgeons just don't know until a person is opened up exactly how long it will take. Some surprises might be awaiting them they can't see until one is opened up. He stayed true to his word what we communicates prior to surgery. He was every bit the perfectionist I could hear in our consultation. I am only about ten days out, so am still swollen and in my compression bra which is filled with gauze to make it extra tight for a month. However, at the office yesterday, I saw myself for the first time without the strips covering where my scars will be. I caught my reflection in the mirror. I am telling you with NO exaggeration, he did a First Class surgery!! I am SO relieved and happy with my outcome. I belong to Facebook groups like "Breast Implant Illness and Healing", and others. I have quietly watched many stories. I have seen how there are average surgeons and some who should never be allowed to touch a woman's chest. I have a HUGE reference point to know this really is a top notch job Dr. Rubinstein did. For a worst case scenario, to be diagnosed with cancer and having three surgeries inside one year for reconstruction, all time find out my body reacted badly towards implants and I needed to have them removed, Dr. Rubinstein gave me a best case scenario outcome under my worst case scenario journey. In a year or so, I have plans to doll up this beautiful blank canvas with some tasteful mastectomy tattoos. Thank you Dr. Rubinstein. All of this is such a relief. And, I feel SO much better without my implants. This is me now: I am raw, organic and most importantly, I am alive. I am glad I took my time for two years watching results in other women and then having multiple consultations to decide on you. And haha, what a surprise it was to find out one of my best friends also has you as her surgeon. We always said, "My surgeon", but neither new that we both had you as "my surgeon" until she gave you a shout out on FB. Haha that was a good one. Like a two-in-one testimonial.
SOOOO VERY VERY SAD to say that I am let down by this doctor. I had carpal tunnel surgery planned for months and saw him for a pre-op visit to discuss my case. I left thinking he was going to do my surgery in 3-1/2 weeks. We were on the same page, OR SO I THOUGHT!!! He called me the next day to cancel my surgery because he feels "we are not a good fit". WHAT??? I guess Roee changed his mind overnight. I am in chronic nerve pain and need this surgery to go back to work! I have had this planned for months. A relative bought a plane ticket to come take care of me. I took off the month of April from my lifeguarding job at CLU and they took me off the schedule. I'm wondering if Dr. Roee Rubinstein considered any of these things before he did a 180? Before he called me today and cancelled my surgery when yesterday he looked me straight in the eye and told me all was good and that he was going to take care of me?!!?? And then he calls me on a Sunday, leaves me this message with no return number. I AM NEXT LEVEL DISAPPOINTED IN ROEE AND THIS HAS AND IS UPSETTING my life in many ways. Another brilliant surgeon bites the dust because, in my opinion, he is not acting in the best interests of his patients. Where is the empathy and compassion. UNBELIEVABLE. So sad!
I started searching for a surgeon to remove my implants over a year ago when I finally saw an article on breast implants Illness and all my mysterious ailments began to make sense. I started by trying to go thru my insurence to no avail and started doing research on surgeons who specialize in the removal and happened upon Dr Rubenstiens Facebook support group. He came highly recommended by the members and had great reviews here as well. So I finally just decided to go for it. He was very nice at the consult. Didn't discredit my feelings of my implants being the cause of my health problems which was all I was really hoping for. We scheduled the surgery date. The cost was Definetly not what I wanted to pay but it in the end I feel like it was worth it. When I opened my bra the day after surgery I was more happy with my results than the day after I got my implants originally(different expectations probably playing a role for sure tho) I think once they heal I will have better looking and placed boobs than I have ever had. I already feel better not having the implants and can't wait to see how I feel and look after I am fully recovered and healed. I can not recommend him enough. So glad I found him and took the time to pick the right person for the job!
