St Charles Imaging Center's Online Review Report Card

The folks here are the kindest people. To start with, the receptionist was warm and welcoming when I entered. Having had several MRI's in my lifetime, I have an idea of what to expect. Once inside the tube, it's loud...sometimes though, you just gotta get it done. Super shot out to Rolando for his patience and extra effort to be sure my ears were well covered, that I was comfortable and for keeping me informed during the imaging.Highly recommend this medical facility if you need a MRI. They are by far the Best!

I just had an MRI this morning and it was a good experience. For those who may want to know, here are some key details: they provided me with thick comfortable headphones, my arms were free (I had imaging done of my hip), and the capsule is larger than a standard MRI so I did not feel claustrophobic. My husband was allowed to be in the room with me. The staff here was extremely nice and happy to accommodate my needs. I have had a few MRIs at other places and this was by far the best.

Great experience! I had called an imaging office I've gone to before for other radiology and they said it would be about 5 to 7 days to get the insurance authorization. Sadly, I am in pain so I that wasn't the news I wanted. I called St. Charles Imaging and spoke to Blanca. She was on it! She took my info and in about an hour or so, she had the authorization! Now that's the way it's done! We scheduled me for the next day. I get to the office and everyone was very nice.The MRI technician Omar ... what a great guy! He explained everything perfectly and talked to when during the procedure. With so many choices for radiology, I am glad I came here!

This would be a "zero star" rating, but one star needed to be selected in order to write this review. My wife is wheelchair bound and had an order for an MRI. We went to this provider but were advised by the front desk staff that they do not take our Medicare because our cards say Railroad at the bottom and they do not have a contract with them (even though they are the same).The front office staff went to get clarification from their billing person, Monica who came out and advised us that they do not have a contract with Railroad Medicare. I told her that it is Medicare. The issue was the simple fact that our cards have "Railroad" in front of the word Medicare at the bottom. It is still the same Medicare. I asked Monica to call the toll free number on the back of my Medicare card to verify that it was the same, but she refused citing that she has dealt with this issue with other patients and she was correct...they have no contact with Railroad Medicare. LI have had providers raise this issue previously but they have ALL at least agreed to call the number for Medicare on the back of my card to clarify their concerns. And each provider has been informed by Medicare that the so-called "Railroad" Medicare coverage is in fact the same federal Medicare. The only difference was where the claims were to be sent by the service provider...that is it.There was nothing that I could say to at least have her call Medicare and confirm. She stubbornly held her ground. Her final comment was that we would have to pay out of pocket or they couldn't help us. Monica was extremely rude and would not give any ground in her insistence that she was right adding that she has been doing this for years therefore she knew what she was doing. I returned home and called Medicare, who confirmed that third provider did have a contract with Medicare and that our unique cards did in fact confirm our coverage with Medicare (there's only one). I called and gave this office their Medicare specific contract number and the telephone number for providers to verify coverage so that Monica would have all the necessary information available so that she does not make this mistake again and turn away another patient seeking care. Shame on this provider and specifically the uniformed Monica for taking that extra step to educate herself so that my wife could receive the imaging that she needs to monitor her condition. We will never patronize this provider ever again.

The staff were very mindful of the COVID19 requirements. The MRI technician was very kind and efficient. He checked in to make sure I was doing okay since I am claustrophobic. Great experience!

Very personal, caring feeling from staff. My visits are carried out timely, with little to no waiting time. I am more than satisfied with the quality of medical care I receive from all facets of St. Charles Spin3 Institute. I recently moved, yet am still willing to drive over an hour to continue my treatment with them rather than changing medical professionals. BARBARA. April 2021

I thought there was an awful lot of paperwork, mainly because I have trouble writing after a stroke. The receptionists and technician were very courteous and helpful. I would be more comfortable with a separate room to put on and take off the bra.

Great staff, customer service, fast and efficient.

Took me on time, very professional, gave me my CD within minites of taking the MRI.

The team was friendly, prompt and efficient.
