Dr. Kind has been my G.I. doctor for more than a decade and I moved with him when he joined UCLA Health. However, he departed UCLA Health in January 2021 without so much as a goodbye letter and apparently has moved out of state.

I'm a new patient with Dr. Kind and I'm very impressed. He has an excellent no-nonsense manner but it's clear he cares very much about each patient. I had a scheduled appointment as a new patient and was left waiting more than 30 minutes without word from anyone in the office for the delay. When I inquired I was told it would be another 25 minutes before the Dr would see me. This office has no respect for their patient's time.

Dr. Kind is an outstanding physician who is knowledgeable, professional and dedicated to his profession. I am extrememly pleased with Dr. Kind as my specialist and I highly recommend him to others seeking a highly qualified gastroenterologist.

Dr. Kind, who is a wonderful doctor, charged $368 for an office visit and Dr. Kind - UCLA Health is in network for United Healthcare. No tests were run. I called to complain and was told that's the price. There is nothing they could do. Disappointing.

I was really feeling sick for a month and none of the doctors at my place could find the reason.I travelled to LA to meet dr kind UCLA. He found out the reason and diagnosed my illness.I highly recommend him ,hez is really kind and knowledgeable and very cool person. Very prompt in diagnosis.

Very competent doctor. Like his name, he really is kind and reassuring. Goes out of his way to be accommodating. Even paid for and picking up my prescription from the pharmacy downstairs.

If your insurance says the procedure is 100% covered that is not really the case. They will refuse to bill the first appointment as preventative and you will end up with having to pay your co-pay for a specialist. Granted, it's not that much compared to the entire procedure but if it's supposed to be 100% covered then that is what you expect going in. I'm not sure why they refuse to bill it as preventative because they will get paid anyway. Makes absolutely no sense.
