Rapid Restoration …full knee replacement with Advanced Medical Science of total Nano knee arthroplasty outpatient in is incomprehensible 3D CT scan - the perfect fit. healing, movement, strength, stability to extension measuring are beyond comprehension. I am rejoicing! Thank you Dr Ferro and staff.

Surgery took place last week and although all went well, (I think), came home with "mystery" rash that as of a week later continues to spread.....office NOT good about following through with phone messages left or verbally expressed to third parties, (assigned re-hab nurse), in getting back to patient. 48 hours later than promised, with patient direct involvement finally received "additional" medication with what now has become a skin infection.... If they shave your leg, asked last time blades were changed out, or how they dis-infect shaver from patient to patient???

I was having hip pain. Dr Ferro informed me, he believed I needed a replacement. I played one more match of tennis, while I was thinking about it and was back in his office asking for one. Staff was very friendly. Surgery went great. Post op medical availability was excellent.

My outcome has been ?? MISERABLE!!! I thought everything was great 2 weeks after surgery only to wake up one am and knew something was wrong! Low and behold I had a Staph MSSA (a family of Staph MRSA.. which can be deadly).. Dr Ferro nor his staff adequately handled my AWFUL SITUATION! I went and got several other opinions (once I had 2 surgeries w Dr Ferro ! 1: knee replacement 2: 2 weeks later to washout for infection . The infection stayed (which is thought to happen during first surgery at the surgical center bc of Staph present in operating room or otherwise. I’ve now had my 3rd surgery with new Dr to replace the implant Dr Ferro put in! DISASTER for me financially, mentally, physically, work related, family related and MUCH MORE! I have my 4th and hopefully FINAL SURGERY THIS YEAR 2021.. to have my knee replaced and I’m 51 years old. I do not want anyone else to go through this with Dr Thomas Ferro! PleaSe ge other opinions as well. It’s a big surgery and should be life changin

I had total hip replacement Did not need pain medication Was up on a walker I give thanks to Dr Ferro and staff were courteous kind understanding It was the best that I ever did. 2 years ago going strong and no pain ??

Absolutely the best experience! My husband had total knee replacement. He had the surgery in the morning, we were back in our hotel that afternoon. It is now the next evening, he has been walking on it since he left the hospital, with the aid of a walker...... but he hasn’t needed any pain medication! Dr. Ferro and his entire team have been extremely personable, accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process.

I was pleased to have Dr. Ferro do a knee replacement 5 years ago. The knee works great. However, my other knee was giving me trouble so I went to the Bakersfield office and was driven a cortisone shot. I came back again for a fitting for a knee brace. Was told it would be in in about two weeks. This was around mid November. I called in December and the receptionist said she would check and get back to me. I called on February and she said the company was behind ( again I was fitted in November) She said she would call me when it was in. Today is May 5. Ridiculous. Bakersfield office is terrible.

Dr. Ferro is brilliant. Had a hip replacement and my recovery was very fast. Thank you, Dr. Ferro and your dream team, for restoring my hip and giving me my life back. Wish I had done this sooner. Very smooth, state-of-the art process from start to finish.

Surgery was fine. Unorganized office staff. Out of pocket expense is outrageous $7500! Can't be billed to insurance because you sign a form otherwise insurance would pay for it. Was told I would have a knee joint made just for me thru 3D modeling. Nope they use pre- fabricated joints. Still waiting for my overpayment refund from March. There are orthopedics that do make joints just for you and there is no out of pocket cost.

Dr. Ferro is the absolute best. He replaced both knees 4 years apart from each other. I haven't had any problems. I have refered several people to him that fill the same.
