I want to address the people who comment he is rude, etc. He is an excellent doctor, but with genius comes social inadequacies. He does not have bedside. So....please consider, do you want your hand held or your hand fixed? He is excellent at what he does, but don't expect him to coddle and feel for you. If he is in business anymore....I heard he was not in business anymore.

Let me start by saying I am a hairdresser of 20 years that has dreaded the day I may someday get carpal tunnel syndrome. Luckily I found Dr. Bury. After consulting with several doctors who all wanted to do the open surgery method, Bury was the only doctor I could find in my area that was confident performing endoscopic surgery. Dr. Bury is extremely knowledgeable in his profession and confident in his work. After the initial consultation I had no problem scheduling a date for surgery. The wait time in the office was always less than 10 minutes. Dr. Bury is efficient, precise, and best of all easy to talk with. The staff were all accommodating and friendly. I definitely recommend Dr. Bury to anyone thinking about carpal tunnel surgery. Do your research, your hands deserve to be in the best hands! Thank you Dr. Bury!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bury for over 15 years and each experience has been top notch. I first saw Bury after a freak accident with a table saw. He accessed the situation and was honest that I may lose my fingers but that everything that can be done will for a best outcome. Three surgeries and time later I have full feeling with minimal range of motion issues. To top it off, thanks to his plastic surgery skills the scars are barely visable. I have also had several skin cancerous removed on my forward and face, both with excellent results. I only trust Dr. Bury with all my hand and skin cancer removals that require the expertise of a skilled surgeon.

I had hand surgery with Dr. Bury. I had a bone spur on my knuckle of my ring finger. It was painful to move my finger, and my finger was swollen. Dr. Bury ordered x-rays of my finger before surgery. Dr. Bury and was able to show me the bone spur on my finger. After Dr, Bury performed surgery on my finger, I could not move my finger even after a few weeks. Dr. Bury told me it takes time to recover and my movement would return. After several months of pain with no improvement, I decided to get a second opinion. I went to a leading hand surgeon with a university hospital. I showed him the before x-ray of my finger. I then had a post-surgery x-ray taken of my finger. The doctor explained as he showed me on the new x-ray that the bone spur was still evident on my finger. The doctor informed me that tendons in my finger were severed during the operation. I will never have the use of my finger.

I had hand surgery with Dr Bury last week and am very happy with the results. The surgery was almost painless and the whole process was an easy one. I highly recommend him in fact I referred someone to him yesterday.

Dr. Bury is a extremely competent And well trained not only in Certified board hand Surgeon but a board certified plastic surgeon! I think some cosmetic patients come with this expectation of make me perfect! They are so unhappy with themselves nothing will make them happy! Dr. Bury does not botch surgeries! I know Dr. Bury's work. He takes pride and would never do a terrible job!! Sometimes the outcome is just because of that's patients body!!! I feel that if you go by a nasty review, you are not really seeing both sides. Professionally I have worked with Dr. Bury for 12 years!! He is really blessed with his talents!!! Why do 95% Doctors and Nurses in the area go to Dr. Bury! He is really a great hand surgeon/ plastic surgeon!! Read his degrees!!! For LH, that is your opinion... not for everyone!

I will begn by saying that several years ago my husband had a growth removed from his hand by Dr. Bury and the results were excellent. No scar. I have no doubt that Dr. Bury is a competent surgeon. That said, my experience over the past months has not been as favorable. My 95-year-old mother suffered a broken finger in January of this year. I took her to see Dr. Bury to determine the extent of the injury and what could be done for her. An x-ray revealed that she would not require surgery. At that point Dr. Bury authorized physical therapy. I subsequently took my mother to physical therapy appointments every week for months with check ups by Dr. Bury every 6 weeks or so. Those appointments were always quick and cursory. He would ask me to remove whatever splint she had on at the time, take a quick look at the finger, and send her back for more therapy. After her Medicare benefits for therapy were exhausted, Dr. Bury told her she had "graduated" and sent her off to live out her life with a permanently bent finger. At least she isn't in pain, but I certainly never got the impression he was much interested in her case. I'm sure elective breast augmentation pays way better than Medicare anyway. And about that office staff...the woman who mans the front desk is as rude as they come. On one particularly hot afternoon, my mom was feeling a little dizzy as she got out of the car. After walking her into Bury's office, I asked the receptionist if she could get mom a cup of water. She flatly refused. What doctor's office doesn't have a sink and dixie cups and can't spare a glass of water for an elderly woman? Really? I was told by the physical therapist that Dr. Bury has cut back his hours and is nearing retirement. Given his attitude and that of his receptionist, I think it's about time. Not recommended.

If you need an experienced, competent and skilled surgeon, Dr. Bury is it. I lived with bilateral hand pain that escalated to the point I could barely write my first name, without resting my hand. No kidding! As a medical professional, Dr. Bury was on my radar, but I checked with everyone I knew. It was a "go" from everyone. I had my surgeries over a year ago and couldn't be happier. My recovery was, virtually painless, controlled with over-the-counter meds. With physical therapy, my hands are strong and I'm doing great. If you're wondering, the scarring is minimal, barely noticeable. Dr. T, as he's affectionately known, is not only a great hand surgeon but does beautiful cosmetics. I believe his consultation are complimentary. Call his office and his efficient front desk will help you with the rest. FYI, my insurance and account was handled seamlessly. Great doctor and staff.
