Was recommended by Dr. Thomas by a man I saw with an athletic brace on his knee while eating lunch at a restaurant. Never had any prior knee problems. My knee had been in so much pain for about 3-4 years. It finally got to the point where I needed to see someone. Went to Dr. Thomas and he suggested that I get knee surgery but he gave me other options as well. Didn't force me to choose surgery, allowed me the time to think about things and let him know what I wanted to do. Best decision I could have ever made. I came out of the operation pain free. Have already recommended him to several of my friends. His staff at the office is First Class. They are always available if I have any questions or concerns. And they are very professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Thomas.

Torn meniscus. After seeing another doctor who just wanted to shoot cortisone, I went to Dr. Thomas. I knew immediately - I'm sticking with him. Reviewed the MRI in detail; gave me options and also what he recommended. Point being - he took the time to explain with patience and answer my numerous questions. Dr. Thomas did the surgery with exceptional bedside manner. Recovery has been exactly what he described and with no hesitation I would see Dr. Thomas again and recommend him to any family or friends. Highly accredited, simple, professional, efficient, cordial and patient = all the things I seek in a medical expert and Dr. Thomas hits on all fronts. Thank you Dr.

Dr. Thomas is very kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and thorough. He’s been my surgeon twice now and both experiences have been wonderful. He takes time to educate and ensure you feel comfortable with the treatment for your injury. His office staff are also the kindest and most helpful individuals! I would highly recommend.

Diagnosed my shoulder issue with a quick but thorough exam. And the. He spent another 30 ish minutes explaining the diagnosis and my options. It was a first time issue and he really helped me figure out what I wanted to do. He said that this was not at all a surgical issue. We decided together that I would see how I healed over the next 2 weeks. If I was still in pain or was uncomfortable before then I could come back for a steroid shot. He'd explained that with cortisone (a steroid) 50% of people feel relief but 50% don't within a few days. Then another percentage feel better within a few weeks. So.... Final word....I waited the 2 weeks, and my shoulder was fine and I'm weight lifting and back to my yoga again! Love this docs bedside manner, diagnostic skill, and office staff! I told him I need and general doc who's as wonderfulas him-- he smiled and said..."my office will help you with that". I came to understand his smile when the office referred me to Lucille Thomas, his sister! And Thank you to both Dr. Thomases!!! So happy to be growing my medical team in this part of the world!

What a great experience with Dr. Thomas so far!!!Got an appointment just a few days after my first call to the office, which was very smooth and effortless! The appointment: Very smooth process. From checking in, to some light paper...Was taken into an exam room quickly and then met Dr. Thomas shortly after! The staff here was very attentive and professional and really made a person that's not a fan of doctor visits at ease! Doctor: Was pleasantly surprised to have a doctor actually take his time, ask good questions and checked out both my shoulder and knee without rushing into pain management with pills.... or pushing for surgery! Also, found him very easy to talk to and communicate what was going with me! He recommended Physical therapy and MRI on my shoulder and knee! Office Decor: Very clean, modern and sheik office.Parking: Small Lot in-front of office and tucked away on Thousand Oaks little medical corridor that is Lombard Street!

I highly recommend Dr. Thomas! He cares about and is really good at what he does. He takes time to clearly explain things, is very patient, thorough and welcomes questions and concerns. I always felt in the best of hands under his care. His office staff, technicians are amazing as well! They are friendly and very helpful. I recommend them to anyone I know that needs any orthopedic care. They are a huge blessing!!
