First time I saw him and I am impressed. The office group very pleasant possible surgery but no force if I can see wait i like that

I had surgery for cataracts in both eyes with Dr. Brar. Immediately after surgery l described for him the "glistenings" l was experiencing with the ALCON ACRYSOF IOL lenses that he implanted. He didn't believe me when l told him what my vision was like. He said, "the surgery went very well and the lenses were placed perfectly". What l tried to tell him was my issue was not with him, but that the lenses he used were crap, but he wasn't having it. I stopped going to see him because he basically told me there was nothing more he could do for me. It is now 10 years after my surgery and l am 59 years old. I guess l have to live with this crappy vision for the rest of my life. Here is an article regarding the issues l have been experiencing since my surgery, and it has only been getting worse: iolsafety.com/issues-und… According to the International Society for interocular Lens Safety, "The evidence is overwhelming that glistenings in Acrysof intraocular lenses have an adverse influence on vision and the use of these lenses in cataract surgery patients should be reconsidered."

For the past four years, I have received outstanding service from Dr. Brar (and his wonderful staff). Dr. Brar is a true professional in every sense of the word. This also goes for his staff entire staff. Dr. Brar is not only extremely professional about his duties, but also, he exemplifies a thorough and dedicated attitude that shows me he really cares about his patients. Dr. Brar's entire staff - all of them, including, Kalie, Evelin, Valerie, Kushal, Raphael, Zabrina, and all the others - are always very courteous and respectful. Furthermore, their friendliness and punctuality make things easier, and I appreciate that. In essence, I feel strongly to have lucked out in finding such an excellent office like Dr. Brar's assisting me.

Great Choice. Just had cataract surgery on right eye and couldn't be happier. Checked in at 12P and back home all done at 1:30P. No pain, no problem, Great and helpful staff. What more can a person ask then what I'd say was perfect - and I'm 90 years old so I've been around more than a few Doctors before. Highly recommend Doctor Brar and East West Eye.

The office personnel were amazing, and Dr, Brar must to had god guiding hes hand, cuz when he perform the cataract removal and lens implant in my left eye not even the white around my eye got red no pain whatsoever and i was back at work the next day, to tell you guys the truth i could have walk out of the surgery room and gone straight to work that's how good this guy is. Thanks Dr Brar I'll be seeing you soon for my other eye , thanks, thanks, and thanks again awesome job.??????????.

Dr Brar is very caring and insightful. Example - had bad glaucoma dr that would never refill RX for daily drops TO SAVE MY EYES- Dr Brar on top of regular eye cate took care of my glaucoma care too! But! During national pandemic and LA COUNTY n Torrance having highest infection cases- they overbook so people rcramped in a waiting room- I go to other doctors- they have max 2 ppl waiting. Dr Brar ofc has 7 and I am sitting in stairwell ! Now 4 more ppl showed up. Now 12! It was this bad 8 weeks ago! And they use archaic method of temp check. Which was shown thru WHO and EUROPE HEALTH INST does NOT determine non cv19- Many AREinfected but hv no fever. The best prevention is LIMIT PATIENT IN TINY WAITING RIOM TO 2. DO NOT-OVER BOOK!Demand all wear facemasks! PEOPLE R COUGHING IN THE WAITING ROOM. I have to report to county health sorry...

Excellent Ophthalmologist

Dr. Brar performed cataract surgery on my left eye in October of 2018, and when I went to write this positive review I noticed that a previous reviewer "Bill L." had taken the words out of my mouth. I can't improve upon what he wrote, so here's a recap of what he said in 3 bullet points: (1) I got a really good feeling about him at the initial consultation because, among other things, he dismissed the 'need' for the fancy (and expensive, w/ extra out-of-pocket cost) accommodating and multi-focal IOLs. He said that all I needed were regular IOLs (which are also the cheapest). (2) Dr. Brar performed the surgery at the South Bay Surgical Center (a stones throw from nVision's Torrance office), and the results have been the best vision I've ever had in years (for me, just my left eye) with no complications and no pain. (3) Just as importantly, Dr. Brar has a quiet confidence about him and an unmistakable sense of doing what is best for the patient. He knows what he's doing, and you can sense it . . . all without any arrogance or bragging on his part. I couldn't have put it better. Thanks to Dr. Brar for the great work, and Bill for the words.

I can't say enough about Dr. Brar and his staff. We feel so lucky to have been referred to him for my father's cataract surgery. From the first visit to the office for a consult we felt extremely confident of our choice and couldn't wait for the results. My dad had his cataract surgery and his eyesight is so much better, not only that but the experience itself was just unbelievable. I'd recommend Dr. Brar to any of my friends and family.

Please..... DONT GO THERE... STAFF IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. DONT RETURN CALLS... Don't respond to messages and if by chance you get through, they will place you on hold for 10 to 20 minutes stating there is another patient ahead of you, just to come back and say, "I'll take a message and walk it directly to the doctor. BULLSHIT.... Dont go there until they change staff. Make them loose money. Go somewhere else where you are important. Staff is only there to get a check NOT help. Save yourself.... run... dont look back. Have your eyes check by an office and staff that really cares.
