List of Andrew Y. Lim's Reviews
Dr. Lim performed my bicep tear re-attachment surgery in February of 2022. The experience afterwards has been terrible. After coming home I noticed I could not move my hand, and felt like my forearm bone was breaking. I went in and was told that my cast was wrapped entirely too tight, and it was NORMAL for my hand to not work. I gave it more time, and my hand and fingers were still NOT working properly. I had to go back in and explain how I did my own research, and that this is not normal. I was briefly explained that nerve damage can happen (never throughly explained before the op). He was not nice or professional at all. Over a year later, and my left hand still doesn't function properly. It impacts my work on the daily, and Dr. Lim nor the office seem to care. It's truly sad people can do this. I WARN you, do not let this person operate on you.

Hard to get thru when you call
I found Dr. Lim to be highly professional, courteous, prompt, friendly and able to offer me options as well as answer all of my questions. I especially appreciate his surgical experience and skill and found him to be outstanding in EVERY way. I would not hesitate to call upon him and his team should I need upper extremity repair again.
Explained everything thoroughly. Helpful and polite.
He was prompt and knew right away the treatment for my condition after looking at the x-rays.
I was referred to Dr. Lim by my PCP for thumb stiffness/soreness and my research showed some bad reviews. Don't know what changed, but my experience with him and his staff was quite pleasant. Visited in September and staff was friendly and his bedside manner was very nice. He clearly explained my diagnosis (trigger thumb) and treatment options. My only critique was having to fill out mounds of paperwork upon arrival. I would suggest emailing these to patients to complete beforehand to save time.
Dr. Andrew Lim help my broken finger get best results surgically.
Friendly and efficient. Listened well. Took care of my problem in one visit!
Worse doctor I have ever been too. Rude and totally unprofessional. After waiting 6 weeks to see him ,he gave me about 3 minutes. I had a large hand cyst and elbow pain. He looked at my hand and said you need surgery.I asked about the radiating hand to elbow pain and he told me to make another appointment.Don't try and get 2 things in at once and left the room. My appointment was for both.Needless to say I left. I went to Dr. Nicholas Halikas and he was wonderful, looked at both at one appointment and did a fantastic surgery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
