Hospital is OK. Physicians are OK. Billing department is godawful, especially with the addition of “Torrance Emergency Physicians Inc.” as a separate billing entity. The employees are fully equipped with a complete inability to understand their own system. You’d think we’d have gotten along better, having such ignorance in common. 20 minutes on the phone & I still don’t know which of the two totals I was sent is the correct one, although the CSR helpfully threw a third number into the mix. As it’s $50 lower than the lowest previous invoice, maybe that’s the one I’ll pay. 😜

The care and personal service by the staff is incredible. My stay there a few years ago was so comfortable and the staff made me feel grateful and thankful for them. The same can be said for my family’s recent stay there after their operations!
